Ruby plunged herself on the dew covered grass, wrapped her arm over her face and sighed deeply. Feeling the light breeze flow against her pink fur, she lifted her gaze to the rising sun. She heaved herself up, now facing a nearby lake, the sun's reflectance glittered on the surface that shown the morning colors of orange and pink. Ripples were created by the gentle wind that swooped over the milky pale sky.
Her small feet plastered to the wet earth; mud oozed between her toes. The pink Calin walked drowsily near the body of water. But before she could take a drink, a flash of purple streaked in front of her. A surprised gasp escaped her mouth as she lost her balance and collapsed to the ground. The pink calin lifted her head to find the newcomer sitting close to her. A purr of amusement rumbled in her throat. ( yes they purr, my story, my ability to make them purr! now keep reading...) A mischevious grin folded on the creature's face.
" Heh, not the best introduction, but it'll have to do. " The purple Calin said, now sounding harmless but rather someone who'd get into trouble a lot.
" Good morning Clippy, it's very nice to see you... " In an instant, the pink Calin jumped on her; the two tumbling in the dust and knocking each other against rocks or possibly, denting trees; the bark splintering off as they flew across the soft terrain. Pinning her little sister against a strong sapling, Ruby cautiously lowered her head to the smaller calin's face with a warm voice. " You haven't had a taste of me yet. " Clippys only reaction was a smile, full of unkempt teeth.
But before any of the two could make another move, a voice called to them. "Hey, come on over here you two!" Both girls swerved their heads in the direction of the call-out. Soon after, they began to ramble past each other.
"Gosh, you guys made a mess." It was Alex. And standing between his legs was Baby, Ruby's son. The golden retriever walked with satisfaction as if he was proud to have them as friends. The dog gave Clippy a playful nudge and a soft lick on the cheek for Ruby. The couple have been together for a couple of years now. The day Ruby explored the human world and taken care of by The Woman -or in other words, Alice -Alex had ever too much desire to be around her. But he didn't want to show it in the beginning. But now the Calin was all he mainly cared about. She was like a precious treasure that needed to be protected. Alex just started thinking about asking her a question...( CHEESY!!!! Looking back at this made me cringe...)
" Well, you can't blame me, Ruby just tackled me...without any reason to!"
"No reason huh?"
The two started one of those sister fights. Their stomachs began to moan before actual combat could begin. "Oh, you should be grateful that my stomach saved your life from my hands that wanted to rip your body apart. " Clippy said.
