I woke up with someone shaking me telling me to get some shoes on and with that I opened my eyes seeing my dad standing over me.
Howls and growls were heard from outside my window why was I hearing that?
My dad picked me up and handed me to one of his guards telling him to go out the back door, If u let anyone lay a hand on her your dead,
my father says through clenched teeth. To say I was scared was an understatement I had no idea what was going on suddenly we were outside in the woods
I could here the dead leaves cracking under my shoes we then came into view with the garage and there pulled out was my dads Bugatti why was that pulled out ,
dad I said, What are u doing,why are u doing this. Quite kaylle my dad whispered
I had to hold back my thoughts because suddenly I could hear growling and holws close by. Suddenly out of no where a flash of red came out of the trees and knocked my dad into a tree in those seconds I was shoved into the car ,
I tryed to get out but one of my dads guards were blocking the way so all I could do was watch as the red wolf tackled my father when I thought the red wolf had him my dad shoved him off and yelled GET HER OUT OF HERE NOW!!!!!!!!
I have never heard my dads voice felled with such fear that it even scared me.
The red wolf took that moment and lunged for my dads throat, suddenly his body went limp I had tears runnin down my face ,
I was kicking and yelling but it was too late we were already driving away suddenly I had this urge to look back at my fathers body
to see the red wolf staring at me never before have I seen so much hate in a persons eyes and that hate was towards me but what could I have done to cause that much hate I'm only ten and I have never seen him in my life.
To my surprised all the red wolf did was back up into the shadows of the forest and then I woke up.
I woke up screaming someone with there arms around me comforting me saying soothing words to me then I realized that it was only a dream it has been 6 years sense that happened
and I still have dreams about that night. New hot tears come down my face when I pull away from the person who is holding me his name is Chris he was there when my dad died he was the gaurd who put me in the car
I smiled up at him and he smiled right back, Are u ok kaylee he asks, yes I'm fine just another nightmare he tucks me in and kisses my forehead
before exiting my room I lay there thinking about that day tomorrow I start a new year of high school a fresh start .
Me and Chris just moved in about 2 weeks ago we told the pack that's was leaving here that we might not stay
but they allowed us to stay on there land we havent met the alpha yet but i know we will soon.I was going to be a senior this year I hate school
but I have to go if I want to graduate .hopefully soon. And with that thought I drifted back to sleep.
Chris's P.O.V
I woke up hearing kaylee screaming so I ran up the stairs with all my speed opened the door to see her sweaty
with tears running down her face seeing that I knew she had the dream about that night when her father died I was there me only being 16 at the time remember everything. I was to protect her with my life and I made sure I did just that.
