I am Clair William. I go to S.M.A.R.T High school. We live in a dystopian society. I spend half of my day doing homework or studying. Did I mention, we have a test or two every single day.
Today, Saturday, in a hour I am suppose to meet up with Lilly, my Best Friend. I don't know why she called me so urgently, she wouldn't tell me. Ehh, whatever just forget it. I have homework to do. We got surprisingly less homework than usual. Only three pages math, two pages science, five pages history, and one page language arts. I get started on with my homework. The ticking sound from the clock could be hear from a distance away. After about fifty minutes , when I'm done math and science, I get up and start moving. I can literally hear my foot steps.
I spoke, "Mom? Dad? Elena? you there?" No answer.
I didn't think much and slipped my feet into my shoes. I pulled on a hoodie, and got outside of the house. The sky was awfully dull today. I got moving. After walking two kilometers and spotting people with sad faces, I finally reach, I was exhausted, only if I can afford a bike.
