Jasmine lay sleeping in a cave, thinking that she was finally out of harm’s way, little did she know of what was occurring miles away, where her old pack was gathered discussing on ways to hunt her down and bring her back. At the centre of this party were the two brothers, they both wanted her back for their own selfish reasons, for Derrick, last night he had finally discovered something that excited him more than what he felt when breaking hearts and using girls as his toys, and for Luke it had always been about power. Although he was not alpha, he had every intention of being so soon enough, every day when he had reduced Jasmine to a puddle of fear and anguish, his wolf howled in pleasure at their dominance, so when he heard that she had left he found it a personal insult to his wolf, that she had dare challenge him and his wolf by walking out. For him this was just a bigger more exciting game of ‘Hunt Jazzy’, he thought as he chuckled to himself, earning a few looks from the crowd that was gathered.

Back at the cave Jasmine whimpered in her sleep, as she relived the night that had broken her for good. As she lay in the damp cave, a group of boys, all similar in height and looks looked down at this pitifully thin figure that lay on their land. They were quadruplets and all had tanned skin, their heights were between six foot three to six foot four; they also had warm molten brown eyes that they discovered were a very powerful asset when the need to  seduce a woman arose.  Upon entering the cave they had expected a rogue and had instead found a thin girl that looked close to their age, she was about five foot four and had rich chocolate brown hair that was matted, looking like she hadn’t washed in a while.  She had naturally tanned skin, but from her lack of malnutrition it had turned a pale colour that gave her a deathly look.  They carried on staring in silence as Jasmine stiffened in her slumber and bolt into a sitting position, her wolf had become aware of unknown werewolves being present. When her eyes landed on these four identical looking guys that seemed thrice the size of her, a small gasp escaped her lips and she inched closer to the wall, until it struck her back, its cold presence waking her up.

“Plea...please don’t hurt me” she pleaded in a small voice, as the smell of fear laced the confined space around them.

A look of shock and then sadness crossed the boy’s faces, as they looked down at this girl. Where ever she had come from it seems she had not been subjected to the correct type of behaviour.

One of the boys moved forward slowly, speaking in a low soothing voice, “It’s ok, were not going to hurt you, just relax we want to help you” he stated as he crouched down so he was now eye level with her, peering into her forest green eyes he could see the confusion, mistrust and the damaged look they held. This saddened him, for she looked so innocent, he wondered who had hurt her so bad that even her eyes seemed to tell the world she had been scarred from the inside. “My names Dylan, and this is Sean, Jack and Jay” as he introduced each of his brothers he pointed them out.

“My names Jasmine” she whispered, if they had not been werewolves they would not even have heard her.

“It’s nice to meet you Jasmine, now can you tell us if your hurt?” questioned Sean, while assessing her trying to look for any injuries.

“No, I was just tired so I came here to rest” she spoke a little louder this time.

“Well, we can provide a much better place for you to rest than this, come and rest at the pack house and then we will see if we can help you”

“Why would you help me?” questioned Jasmine, as she looked into Dylan’s eyes trying to assess his character, as she probed her wolf to use her senses.

“Because you look like hell, and if you don’t eat soon you will drop dead” stated Dylan.

Jasmine blinked at his raw honestly, which she found strangely appealing and a small smile formed on her lips.

“Well, in that case I would like to take you up on your offer, I wouldn’t want to inconvenience you by dropping dead on you land” she said as the small smile widened an inch more. She had no idea where this new found confidence had come from, but she was glad it had. After she had looked into Dylan’s eye’s her wolf had been pleased to state that he was an honest person that meant her no harm.

She slowly got to her feet, as the four boys hovered closer to make sure she didn’t topple over.

“Are you sure you can make it to the pack house Jasmine, you look like you’re going to fall over any minute now” said the one she remembered to be Jack.

“Don’t worry about me Jacky boy, I’m a lot stronger than I look” she said with a smug look on her face.

The rest of the boys laughed at the outraged look on Jack’s face at being called Jacky boy.  In between chuckles, Jay jumped up with excitement as he spoke “I love her! Can we make her our new sister, please Dylan. It would be totally worth it, I mean she could call Jack names and we can all live happily ever after”

Jasmines giggled at Jay’s child like mannerism, yet the idea of having siblings or belonging somewhere warmed her heart slightly. Dylan slung his arm around Jasmine, and to her shock she felt comforted and welcomed the human contact, something she had never felt before.

“I think Jay is onto something there, that is if you don’t mind, we would love to adopt you as our sister, which is pretty shocking we don’t normally warm to strangers this fast” he said in a pondering voice, like he was talking more to himself then Jasmine near the end.

Before she could stop herself from even thinking about the offer, her wolf dominated her speech and replied that she would be honoured.

“Well since you’re our sister now, I can finally do this” said Sean as he lifted Jasmine up with ease and carried her towards the pack house that was looming in site, but was still a fair distance away. Werewolf or not, she accepted that her body had reached its limits and rested her head on Sean’s shoulder, his slow long strides slowly putting her to sleep, for the first time she slept with a smile on her lips.
