The mornings cold and raining very heavy rain good thing julie got us leather cloaks i go to her room and we finish up packing then she shows me something " what is it" i ask " there border patrol patches were gonna put them on our coats to get to the border officer we need" she seems happy to have gotten these " alright here's the plan we put these on our coats we walk to the border office and we find officer adam henry we take him captive and escape with him to the mountain then we use him to guide us" the plan i made was daring i know but the best i got then we put on the patches and walked to the border hq we open the door and enter "HALT all soldiers are required to submit paperwork for approval" no i didn't think about it i wave to him for one moment and act as if im grabbing the papers but i whisper to juliet " take these papers up to him then as he checks them grab your dagger and kill him" a slight nod is my response then i hand her the papers she walks up the soldier he grabbed and began checking the papers he began to reach to his pistol "NOW" i yell and before he even unbuckled the holster the blood began to splatter on the floor julie pulled out the dagger and let his body drop we move slowly to the officers area the door is locked so i had to improvise " We need adam henry out here urgently" i spoke to the door after knocking then a man came out in uniform with his cloak on ready to head outside julie hiding behind the door leaps onto him and put the dagger to his throat i grab and take his sword and pistol and throw away the sword "HELP" he yells soon 2 other officers rush out to see what is going on i shoot one it puts him to the floor the other puts his hands up "Alright listen you don't say a word till we leave and you will be fine" we back away and out the door the rain is still going i put the officers hood up for him we walk to the gate he opens it and all three of us leave the city it's about 20 miles to the mountain we walk for about 2 hours henry in front we make sure that were not being followed and stop for the night " what do you want from me" adam asks "we don't want to hurt you were trying to set things straight you see the crack in the sky it's gotten bigger and soon it will be to big and will break time and space we will all stop existing and we need you to guide us to the mountain" he stared at me we set up camp under a tree i tie adam to it and give him a blanket and some food his grey wool uniform wet and dirty from mud soon the fire dies out and julie and adam fall asleep i sit up for a long time the rain falling makes me think of kaleb and all the times he cried soon i lay down and drift to sleep in my dream im still here in the forest but kalebs here he waves to me to follow i do but when i get there i see a grave empty the tombstone saying "Kaleb Smithonson" i back away only to feel something behind me i turn its kaleb a hole in his chest clothes torn and skin decided he speaks but in a voice that is not his " why did you do this to me i thought of you like a brother i looked out for you helped you when you needed it most and now you kill me try to act as if my death means nothing well it should i came to try to save you but still you didn't believe me but you believed those dogs of cleis you will have no mercy no redemption no free will once you are done cause you will be laying on the ground a giant hole in your stomach you'll be spilling your guts to this cause and i mean it literally" soon i backup and fall into the grave then i hear laughing then i awake it's very early i began to breathe heavily i drink till i'm out of water i sit my canteen down and start thinking is this really going to work was he right am i going to die no i cant im not going to let others die.
