Please Never Fall In Love Again

Could've been one lonely night,
Just like the others.

I look up at the stars as she runs up behind me and hugs me

But you lit up my life,
This is what it's like to be lovers

She kisses my cheek, "Hey William! I missed you." I smile at her.

You and me,
Need never be,
Lonely again

"Hey, Jamie, I missed you too." I turned looked at her, a grin plastered on my face.

Spin with me,
Endlessly

I wrap my arms around her and pull her close to me.

Or at least until the end

I close my eyes and whisper, "Please never fall in love again. Oh, please never fall in love again"

And if some other guy,
Catches your eye.
Please

I open my eyes to see that I'm in a black void. I look over to see Jamie walking away with a guy that I didn't recognize.

Just text me your goodbye

I fell to my knees, tears fill my eyes.

You know I don't look pretty when I cry

Warm tears start to trail down my face. I look at Jamie and the man through my teary eyes. I see her turn around and look at me

And I want that to be your final glimpse of me, Baby

I pull my knees up to my chest

I felt a hand on my shoulder. I look up to see Jamie

"Please, never fall in love again. Oh, please never fall in love again"

"William? What's wrong?" I open my eyes to see a worried Jamie looking at me. I felt something wet on my hand. I look down to sew that it was a tear. "William, you were thinking about me leaving you again, weren't you?" Jamie cupped my face, "You know that I will never leave you, right?"

I lean against her hand and give her a slight smile, "Yeah, I know"
