I first got the idea for this story, book, whatever you want to call it when I was having trouble getting to sleep on a Thursday night. Something really, really heartbreaking had happened and I wasn't exactly sure how to deal with it. I hadn't slept a wink and my pillowcase was wet from my tears. My face was red and I wasn't exactly a pretty sight. I felt as if there was nothing I could do to feel better, and I felt really hopeless. I want everyone reading this story to know, if you ever, ever feel like this that you aren't alone, and I sincerely hope you can rise from the ashes life has burned you down to, and that in this ongoing battle with mental health you can get a few hits in. Remember, there is always someone out there to help you, or to love you. And hey, if you're not really vibing with the whole 'someone to love you' thing, that's cool too. No matter what, you matter, and I hope you can see that. Remember to stay hydrated, eat, and love yourself. I wouldn't have it any other way.
