The usual alarm starts to play songs from my phone. I stretch my arms over my head then grab my phone off of my bedside table. I unplug it from the sky blue charger connected to the wall and drop it to the side of my bed. 7:00 o'clock. I sit up and push my blankets to the side and climb out of bed. I do as I normally do, first I make my bed, then slowly make my way into the bathroom. when my feet touch the cold tile floor in the bathroom I cringe. I grab my Pink toothbrush from the clear cup sitting next to the sink, I brush my teeth then leave the bathroom. I sit down on a blue cushioned seat. I look into the mirror and in front of me I see pretty much nothing but hair. I try to push my chocolate brown hair out of my face and tie it in a bun at the top of my head. I look back at myself in the mirror, my galaxy filled eyes of blue green and specks of purple are bright against my Snow White skin. After I had done everything at my mirror and put my hair in a high pony tail reaching almost to my waist, I change into a pair of genes with rips at the knees and a baggy maroon sweater. I grab my phone and my black and white checkered backpack and head down stairs. The walls surrounding the stairs are filled with photos of me, my sister November , my mom Everlee, and our cat Raven. Speaking of Raven, I turn the corn and there she is big, fat, and in the wrong place at the wrong time. Raven sees me coming, and like a deer in headlights doesn't move. I stumble when I see her and quickly step over her,  or more like leap over her. When I'm past Raven I brace myself to hit the wall but instead I feel someone grab my arm and pull me back. When I finally realized what had happened I see my sister standing in front of me, November was taller and had ember hair that was a medium length her eyes were deep sea blue and she had a beautiful white toothed smile.

"Are you okay?"  November asked.
"ya. I'm okay." I said. "Raven was sitting by the stairs again."
"Oh. Hay do you need a ride to school?" November asked walking to the fridge taking out the milk.
"No i'm gonna walk with Ali, I'll ride home with you though"
"Ok, be safe." November walked out of the room with a bowl of cereal and a glass of milk.
"Good morning Luna." My mom said. Mom had shoulder length Ember hair like November with sea green eyes, mom was very pretty and very kind she was the best mom I could ask for, but after my dad had died trying to help the people from the other side get back to their home, She has a lot on her plate with me in my 4th year at Osprey And November in her 6th going into her last next year things were only going to get worse.
"Good morning." I said.

"School starts in 20 minutes Luna so eat quick"

I make my own bowl of cereal and pour a glass of milk and go to the dinning table. When I had finished eating I put my bowl in the sink and at the same time I hear a knock at the front door.
"bye mom!" I said loudly across the house as I ran to the door.
"bye honey, have fun at school!"
"I will!" When I reached the door the knock came again. "I'm coming!" I opened the door and on the other side was my best friend Ali.
"Hay Luna." Ali had light brown medium length hair and light chocolate brown eyes and she was a little shorter that me.
"hay Ali."
"Are you ready for the first day of school?"
"ya it is so much easier to wake up then it was last year with moving closer to school."
"Ya. It is nice. Hay did you hear about the new change this year?" Ali asked.
"No. What's different?"
"They are allowing kids who are stuck here from the other side go to Osprey!" Ali had an excited but nervous look on her face, I'm sure I had an even more nervous look. The people from the other side always seemed to be a little violent when they were scared or threatened. This was because when they were first trapped here they hallucinated from the different air pressure on this side. When they hallucinated they saw my people attacking, and torturing, and killing their people, and now that they have these memory's they are really protective. Although the kids don't have these memories because they were all to young to remember what had happened.

"Thats... Cool." I said with a fake smile.

"I know right!" Ali looked excited. "I wonder if they have claws, or elf ears, or gills!"

"Why would they have gills? I mean just because they aren't from our realm doesn't mean they have gills."

"I know but me and you have never seen one so, you never know." She was right but the only difference between their kind and mine was they had purple eyes.

Me and Ali walked the rest of the way talking about  if there will be any new teachers or if anyone new will be attending, besides the people from the other side. when we reach the school me are met by a big silver and gold building with a big stair way leading up the the main entrance with pillars on either side. me and Ali run up the stairs stopping when we are in side. there is a desk on the right and a wall with notification on the other side. I look at Ali with a grin and we start walking to our lockers.

"whats your locker number?" Ali asked.

"Um let me check." I take a piece of paper out of my backpack and trace my finger along the side until I see my locker number. 122. "It's 122..." when I look up I see a pair of bright purple eyes walking in my direction.
