Purity, the Cleansing Light

The people of Easthall feared what lie in the forest. Darham forest was a dangerous place. The demon Mariuz took over and held inside his power. If one had gone in the forest, they were not expected to return. The forest was always wrapped in an eerie fog and was very cold. It could have snowed inside if the weather ever reached in. But the powers of Mariuz did not let snow nor rain reach in.

The people had tried many times to kill him, but always fell. The only weapon that could do any type of harm on the demon would be the sword of the hero from many years ago. But none would succeed in finding such a weapon. Thus, they would have to turn to look for a someone who could hold such a powerful weapon. One's whose heart was courageous and pure enough to stave the hand of Mariuz at least until they could find someone powerful enough to slay the demon.

This is where Conon the Divine would come into play in this large game. He was traveling through the land to see the world. He came from the west, traveling north-eastern towards Elden Keep. There, he asked the sages his destiny, and they replied, 'In an unholy place, the divine powers can turn the shadows of darkness into the cleansing light.'

'Where could I find such a place?' asked Conon.

'A good deal south-east from here, a town is in a state of unrest. If you can save them, your destiny only begins. If you cannot, your destiny will be fulfilled.'

Conon went to Easthall and arrived within 3 days.
