Caroline's POV

I was sitting on my couch snuggled up in my blanket watching Netflix. It was like 1:00am when I heard a loud knock on my door. It scared me, I hesitated to stand up and started walking towards the door and then let out a huge breath of relief when I saw that It was Stefan. He smiled and waved at me and I smiled back. I opened the door, "Hey what are u doing here its like 1:00 in the morning!!?" I said while chuckling. He smiled and all of a sudden hugged me tight, I froze, he sent shivers down my spine which I never felt before, not thinking  to much of it I put my arms around him. I then pulled away and asked him to come in as he seemed upset and I didn't want to push him to talk to me.

Stefan's POV

I sat down on Caroline's couch. I wanted to talk to her but the words wouldn't come out of my mouth. I just wanted to sit a cry and the only person I can imagine doing that with right now was Caroline. She has always been there for me and I appreciate that soo much about her.

There was a moment of silence between them

Caroline's POV

I could see that Stefan was hurting and that he wanted to talk to me but couldn't. So I decided to comfort him, "Do u want something to eat or drink?"I said
He didn't say anything and looked down, then I got a text message from Elena that read 'I broke up with Stefan. He vamped out of the door when I told him I am worried where he is!!" Caroline looked at Stefan in shock and texted Elena that there is no need to worry he is with me. I put my phone down and looked at Stefan. A tear fell down his cheek and within seconds he started crying.

Stefan's POV

Caroline shifted towards me and hugged me and said that It was going to be alright. She put her head on my chest and her arms were around my belly. Her presence really calmed me down. We sat it silence for a long time and after a few minutes I fell asleep and I think she did too.
