Chapter 2: The First Day

A/N Rapunzel has short, brown hair in this book (like in the movie)

Elsa's POV

I woke up the next morning to see Rapunzel, or Punzie as we called her, already up and dressed. She was wearing a red and black plaid shirt and black jeggings with converse. Her short hair was in a small ponytail and she was packing her laptop and phone into her canvas backpack.

"Good Morning" I greeted

"Mornin'" she replied as she put her backpack on "You might want to get dressed and ready for class" she suggested. I nodded and shook Anna and Merida awake as Punzie skimmed through her schedule, occasionally pushing hair out of her face because it was falling out of her ponytail so much. Once all the girls had woken up we all headed to breakfast. There was a line there too, but luckily the four of us were one of the first people there. I put just a little bit of food on my plate just because I was a little jittery and didn't want to throw up on the first day.

"So what do we have first?" Merida asked

"I have Broadway" Punzie said

"Math" Anna said sadly

"Broadway as well" I said

"Chemistry" Mer said. The girls and I talked about our classes some more before four boys walked in and the room hushed a little bit.

"Who are they?" Anna asked curiously

"I think they're called the "Big Four Boys"" Merida said putting quotation marks aroun their name.

"It consists of Jack Frost, Eugene Fitzherbert, Hiccup Haddock, and Kristoff Bjorgman" I said

"He's the one who nearly knocked me over yesterday!" Punzie said angrily while pointing towards the one with the goatee.

"They all look like trouble makers" Mer noted

"You can say that again" Punzie said

"Guys, I think we should start heading for class now" Anna mused. The girls and I got up and walked past the "Big Four Boys" table. I heard whistles as we walked past them, but we didn't look back. Punzie and I talked about how stupid we thought the four boys were as we walked to Broadway. We were immediately greeted by a woman who's hair was in a loose messy bun and she was wearing a flowy white top and dark wash jeans.

"Hi" She said "I'm Miss Zara, but you can call me Zara, Miss,or Z" Punz and I introduced ourselves and took our seats towards the very front of the stage. After about 15 minutes other people started coming in and Miss Zara started talking to us

"Alright, I introduced myself to you all as you walked in so we can skip that, but I will tell you that in this class you have to have a talent in either dancing, acting, or singing." I sighed a sigh of relief knowing that I would be just fine. Punz and I smiled at each other knowing that we could both sing.

"So, I am going to point to you and you have to sing a small part of a song to me alright? Alright." Just as she'd promised she pointed at people and made them sing. Most people were either too surprised or too shy to sing, but Punz and I were ready when she pointed at Punz

7 am the usual morning line-up

start on the chores and sweep till the floors all clean

Punz sang perfectly. She pointed at a few more people and even Eugene and Jack who surprisingly succeeded in singing, then she pointed at me I stood up and sang

Let it go, Let it go

Can't hold it back anymore

Zara walked up to the stage and read a list before saying,

"Rapunzel Corona, Eugene Fitzherbert, Jack Frost, Elsa Arendelle please come up to the stage and I am going to have you sing a duet for each of us. So Rapunzel and Elsa and Jack and Eugene." Punzie and I took the microphones Zara gave us and looked at the class

"Let's sing Break Free" Punz said I nodded as Zara started the music. After we finished, it was the boys' turn and they sang "Not Over You"

"Alright class" Zara said after she'd lectured us for a few more minutes "Class is dismissed" Punz and I started to leave, but Zara said

"You four will be singing a lot together this year" I looked over at Jack and saw him smirking at me. Yup, this would be a long year.
