In the 21st century humanity believed that global warming would dissolve the atmosphere kill every living thing. Their fear ruled them. They prepared and worked all to no avail to save their planet from it's inevitable end. Instead, another Ice Age began, as those before it, in the late 23rd century. Science saw it coming in the early 22nd century and began secretly preparing humanity for the change. They initiated the Project of Evolution for Arctic Survival, also known by the code-name Polar Bear Project. Known only to certain people as the PEAS, it was started as early as possible in the 22nd Century. Secret genetic experiments were performed to ensure humanity's survival. The civil population was ruled by the fear of an end by the media, the same as during the 21st century. The Polar Bear project was a success, and all of humanity that remained were all modified to survive the extreme cold by the end of the 23th century. Our story begins not long after...
