Farside started out as a short story for my 8th grade English class's creative writing assignment. I was praised on it so much that I decided to continue it. By the time I graduated high school, I had written 5 of the seven books in the series. I wanted to finish the last 2, but life kicked in and I never got to finish them. On top of that,  I had lost the original 5 throughout the course of time. One moment in my life, I was incarcerated. While there, I had started a book called Silicon Valley. It was supposed to be a sci-fi story on the beginning of nanotechnology. It was stolen before I finished. A few years ago and in a better life, I found myself with time to relax my mind. Previous books long forgotten, armed with a new app called Wattpad, I started with something fresh, thus giving birth to the original idea Impala was to take. Impala was, of course, going to be a story about my car with a sci-fi twist. The contemplation on how I wanted the story to take off is what brought back the memory of the Farside series. In that process, an even better idea came to mind. The only problem was how to get Impala over to Farside. So instead of my car, a brand new spaceship, and of course a new engine. Impala became the first of a three book saga in itself thus marking the intro to the Farside Galaxy. But what about Silicon Valley you say? Well, Silicone Valley was an idea that struck halfway through Impala. It became the intro to the intro. Instead of it explaining the beginning of nanotechnology, it will also give a more detailed explanation of the birth of the arc generators and solid light. It will also give a peek as to how some of the Farside characters already knew about Earth. Impala and Pegasus touches on the subject and it will be widely discussed in the third book. Silicon Valley is a stand alone intro to the whole Farside genre. Then comes the Farside Saga, which will take you to the original Farside Galaxy.

In total, 10 books to tell the whole Farside story. I even have an idea for a stand alone conclusion called Aftermath. It's still brewing right now but the format is coming to focus. Keeping in mind I no longer have the original copies of either books, so these are completely off of memory with a few changes to bring them all together. Also, I had to improvise some parts to make up for the ones I couldn't remember.

Grammarwise, my books go through a 4 step proofread process. First step is really more of a fly by. Light grammar, spelling, punctuation, etc as it's being written/typed. The whole purpose is to get the story out. Next is story context. Missed parts, skipped or rearranged sentences. Also a deeper grammar, etc. check. Then, paragraphing. Breaks in scenes or events. Also once again an even deeper grammar, etc. check. Finally, after about 100 or so people have read it, I take their feedback and criticism and adjust it accordingly along with a,  yep...you guessed it, another grammar etc. check. This is usually a 2 or 3 step process by itself. Afterwards, if I feel it's ready, then I make a copy with the new improvements and present it as a finalized copy. Right now, Impala is in step 3, so criticize away.
