"About seventeen years ago, me and my partner Life had a child. He was a beautiful boy. Had my green eyes and black hair yet he was just as excitable as his father.

"The only problem was that, as Life and Death we could not have a child. We had two years to find a home for him or the council would take him and, well, kill him.

"So we looked and looked till we found a couple. They were to die on Halloween so we thought that they would be a perfect as they had a son that looked almost like ours. Life, on the day they were to die, came with me.

"Late in the night a man broke into the home. Life went up to the nursery and I followed soon after. The man came up the stairs not to long after. He and the woman, who was protecting her child, began to argue. He killed he and slowly descended onto the crib.

"I knew why he did that. I knew why he killed them. They were the ones to take away his freedom. Well not them, but the old man who came after he was 'killed'. The truth is, we made a deal.

"He was to 'die' and let our son take that boys place. He was to act as if he were trying to kill our son as 'revenge' for 'killing' him. In exchange we would let him live forever.

"And thus the world believed our son to be the infamous Harry Potter." She gave me a loving smile. I was speechless. To learn that, after all these years, all this time my parents weren't dead. One was Death.

"How do I know that your telling the truth?" My words were quiet and I truly wanted to believe her. If she was right then I have my mother right in front of me. I was never in danger of dieing when snake-face and I fought.

"You have a mark on you heal. It looks like a strawberry, at least to me." She smiled at me again and it we all I could do to not break down crying. I rapped my arms around her, a smile playing my face.

"Come now, your father is waiting in the parlour." I smiled standing, and followed her, Love chatting with me happily.

I hope this is real.
