Your Crashing Tears

You reach out

It was the red crashing waves

the words forming

and the yelling tears

"Hey! What's u-"

and the half-truths and lies

Then the words in your head die

and the green with regret and fights

You aren't friends

it was an abrupt blue that ended in tears

not anymore.

and the cold worn memories

Not after that.

of orange-brown loneliness.

So, you walk past

And it was the bitter sweet self-sacrifices

heart yelling to say hi.

of those who couldn't face themselves

Brain shouts no.

in the mirror.

You say nothing.

It was the broken.

You miss the laughs and smiles she brought.

It was the truth.

Then with a realization

the pouring down rain

you remember

on a sunny day

she never brought that to you.

It's the red crashing waves
