Her heart tumbled,
Her words stuttered,
Her feet stumbled,
And before she knew anything
She was sulking to death.
She took a lot of time,
To get over it,
Cuz sweetness couldn't console,
And bitterness couldn't harden.
They had broken her little soul.
But she understood, the hard way,
That life's no game.
And knights in shining armours,
And angels in silver wings,
Don't exist anymore.

PoetryThis anthology presents poems written during various phases of my life, and to be honest, I never knew I would actually publish them. But ofcourse it's an amazing experience to do so and I hope you guys will find them, err, not so cringey?
