Once upon a time... there were two rivaling high school. They sat atop a hill and were right next to each other.

The one in the west was called West Desert High and the one on the east called East Valley High. For some reason the founders of the town of Monday had the genius idea to put the two high schools of the town directly across the street to each other.

The kids on the west side of town would become Crimson Comets and the kids on the east side became Blue Blazers. In the first year of both the schools opening there was an immediate rivalry.

Anything the students did automatically became a competition. If one school was good at sports the other would try to be better, if some students were excelling, the other would try to excel beyond, if students were failing the other would try to fail harder. This resulted in so many things to compete in that the schools had every activity so they both have equal amount of activities.

The students had much passion for the rivalry. Crimson Comets would never so much as talk to a Blue Blazers, being friends was out of the question. The only way a Blue Blazers and a Crimson Comets could ever be seen together is fighting.

And that is where our story begins...

"LET'S GO COMETS LET'S GO!"

"LET'S GO BLAZERS LET'S GO!"

High school games are different in Monday. With a rivalry as big as the ones with the east and west schools there's no way a normal high school could compete. It would be pretty weird in other places to have a hockey game on the last day of school, but the comets and the blazers would never let a day go by without some sort of competition. It changes every year, but this year it happened to be hockey.

And the Blazer's hockey team this year happens to be very, VERY good.

"We'll get those bastards next year!" shouts generic friend 1.

"I can't believe we have to wait the whole summer to kick their ass again..." gangie 2 mutters.

"Let's just hit Benny's and call it a day," says Nita.

And so they went...
