3rd POV
It was a rainy day out in Detroit so that meant Connor still had work Markus wanted Connor to come over so he called him but Connor didn't answer "Wonder why he didn't pick up...he always picks up if it's me..." Markus forgot that even on rainy days Connor had work he asked Daniel and Daniel replied "Oh yeah don't you remember even if it's raining it's doesn't mean it's break time for the DPD they work no matter what dude" Markus thanked Daniel and walked off hoping his boyfriend was ok Connor had finally called Markus back after 3 hours "Hello Markus I'm sorry I couldn't answer earlier I was at work!" Connor explained "No no it's fine Daniel told me but...I called to ask if you wanted to come over and watch a movie or something..." Markus heard Connor giggles God every time Connor giggled Markus felt his heart melt "Yeah I'd love that I'll be over in 10" Markus smiled and said "Ok I love you" He didn't hear a thing there was long pause "C-Connor...?" Connor then said "S-sorry....I uh...me too!" Connor then hung up Markus sighed knowing the cost of dating Connor was never hearing I love you back Connor didn't really understand what love was and was new to it Markus didn't mind though he loved Connor and that's all that matters to him A few minutes later he heard a knock hoping it was Connor he eagerly opened the door there he was it was Connor "He baby! How was the case?" Connor smiled and said "Greeting Markus and it went well" Markus smiled 'why does he still greet me like that' Connor then said "So what kind of movie are we watching?" Markus snapped back to reality "Oh a horror movie! It's called Devil's of Ocean Lake" Connor shuddered at the name "Gosh sounds...scary!" Markus chuckled "It is let's get some popcorn and watch this bad boy!" Connor snorted "Your such a nerd!" Markus the gave an offended look "I'm quite proud to be a nerd for your information!" Connor giggled "Yeah yeah" after the popcorn was made and drink were set down the movie was put on as the couple cuddled ready for the jumpscares "Oh god I'm not sure if I'm ready for this!" Markus smiled and kissed his boyfriends nose "You'll be fine babe" Connor heard the name and looked away not fazed by it 'I wish he would react to my Nicknames...' Then the screen lit up as the movie started after a while with about 16 jumpscares counting Connor was shaking in Markus's arms Markus looked down at the shaking Connor and saw tears streaming down his face as another jumpscare popped up Connor buried his crying face in Markus's chest "T-turn it off.....pl-please..." Markus saw this and immedently got up and turned it off "Baby I'm sorry!!" Connor was still crying but told Markus it was fine "P-put on something....not scary...." Markus agreed and put on a cartoon show for Connor to make him happy when it came to night time the couple went to separate rooms "Night baby sleep well I love you!" Markus smiled at Connor "Night Markus...I uh...you too! Heh heh..." Connor felt ashamed he couldn't say 'I love you' back to his boyfriend around 1:46 at night Connor was tossing a turing he was having a nightmare when suddenly he woke up jolting out of bed and ran to Markus's room he opened Markus's door and shook the man awake "M-Markus get up I had a nightmare!" Markus woke up rubbing his eyes he sat up and saw a crying Connor "Baby what happen what type of nightmare?" Connor cried into Markus's neck "Hey hey don't cry what happen in the nightmare?" Connor spoke shakily "Y-you broke up with me cause I didn't know how to love...you were done with me....and didn't love me anymore...." Markus looked down at Connor with shocked eyes "Baby I don't care if you don't know what love is Daniel doesn't know what it is and Jerry's dating him! Ralph doesn't know it either and Simon is dating him! I love you for you baby.." Connor looked up with teary eyes "R-Really...?" Markus nodded "Yes I care that your kind sweet and that you love me for me! Which you do! That's all that matters to me!" Connor smiled and snuggled into Markus's chest "I....I lo-love you..M-Markus..." Markus eyes widen as he heard the four words he has always wanted to hear "I love you too Connor" both the men settled into the bed and passed out snuggling (HOORAY FOR DA FLUFF)
