New life, new club

1x01 Pilot

,,Rachel! Wake up! Oh my God it's your first day! Wake up Rach!" shouted my older sister. Do you wanna know her name? Ofcourse you want. Her name's Lara, known as the perfect girl. Only 2 words can describe her. "Good" and "marks". I'm same as her, I care about marks too. But she's cool, she has a lot of friends. And that's where we're different. I don't have many friends. I had four friends, Gio, Toni, Shalyn and Sophie. We were best friends. But I moved, so now we don't really talk. Sometimes I'm really jelaous of Lara. But I'm actually happy that I have her, I can't imagine if I was only child. We're step sisters. I have also one little brother. His name is Juan. Also, he's step sibling. My mom died when I was little. Lara felt alone and my (step) dad didn't know what to do. She didn't want dog, gold fish or any other pet. She wanted sibling. So they brought me and Juan to their family.
,,Rachel!" Oh, I didn't realize how long I was talking about me.

,,So, are you excited about new school?" asked me my dad when we were in the car. I just said: ,,Yeah, I'm excited about no friends." He was sad that I don't have many friends, but he never said something. Even he was always quite I know he cared about me.

It's first lesson and I already feel so alone. Everybody's talking with someone. Only I'm, like an idiot, reading a book. ,,Hey." someone said. I was like "wait are you talking to me?" Then he asked: ,,Are you new here, right?" ,,Um, yes, I'm new." I said. "I'm Finn and I'm in the football team. And what's your name?" asked nicely. ,,Rachel. You can call me Rach if you want." He just said okay. Then he left and we didn't talk anymore that day.

I'm just walking down the hall, thinking about my old friends and asking myself "What are they doing? What are they talking about? Do they miss me?" but then.. I see interesting poster.

I was interested. A lot. I even thought that I'll join. But then my mobile started ringing.. Lara called me 12 times?! Oh my God! And one message.. "Where are you?? I'm waiting for you 20 minutes Rachel!" Okay so.. she called me Rachel. And she never calls me like that. She was really angry.. I'm never late. I started running to her. ,,I'm really sorry, Lara. I promise this was the last time I did something lime that". I apologized when I was already in car with her.

(That day, evening)
Yes, it's finally here! Saturday evening! After a dinner, we have family evenings and I love family evenings! Maybe you're surprised, but I actually love spending time with my dad, Lara and Juan. We have family evenings every Saturday. But last weeks Lara isn't with us. She's really popular in school and as I said, she has many friends and many friends means lots of parties. I don't like parties. There's so many people and I'm really shy. I prefer being at home, eating popcorn and watching TV  with the people I love the most, my family. "Rachel, you seem kinda sad, what's wrong?" asked my dad. Wow. That was probably the first time he asked me something like that. He doesn't say it often so I'm happy when he asks something like this. "Um, nothing. I just.. the first day wasn't that easy how I thought. But I met a boy, we talked, then he left and I just felt so alone." I said. "Oh honey, I'm really sorry about that. But you don't have to feel alone, you have us. You have Lara" he said. That was kind from him. We don't really talk, but we both love family evenings. One of the reasons why I love Saturday evenings is because we talk more. "Yeah, I know. And I'm glad I have you guys". I really meant what i said. I'm not that sad, depressive teenager which smokes and drinks alcohol. I love my body, I love my family and I'm lucky I'm healthy. And I'm proud of it.

Second day. How they say, "new day, new adventure". Yeah, adventure with no friends, just Biology and Maths is so interesting. Anyway, I can't stop thinking about that guy..um.. Finn. Yeah, Finn. He seemed really nice. Holy shit! I see him. Oh my God, how do I look? Is my sweater good? Jesus, he's coming to me! Just pretend like nothing. ,,Hey, Rachel. Um, Rach." said Finn. ,,Oh, hi Finn! It's a beautiful day today. Isn't it a beautiful day? Please tell me it's a beautiful day." I said and I was really nervous. Then he laughed a little and he said: ,,Yeah, um, it is. I just wanted to tell you that I saw you yesterday looking on a poster from glee club. Do you want to join?" Oh. My. God. He saw me yesterday, he was looking at me! He's into me for 100%! We'll go on a date and then we'll get married, we'll have 2 kids and one cat or dog.. ,,Um, Rachel, so do you want to join?" asked Finn again. ,,Maybe, I don't know yet. I don't think I can sing or dance.." but then he stopped me and said: ,, Stop it! I'm sure you can sing and dance. You can come today to join. Please, do this for me. Oh, I have a lesson. See you later!" I was shook. I couldn't say anything. I was so happy about what he said. Hmm, will I join glee club or not?
