The sound of the front door bang made my heart leap into my throat, my father was home. "Hey h-honey" my mum stuttered. I couldn't her a lot more but I heard "YOU LITTLE COW" and then my mother getting beaten. I couldn't bear him hitting her all the time. He kept my room door locked most of the day but when my couple of hours of freedom were over I would cry, I heard an unmistakeable sound, something smashing and then pleas. I'm making an oath, to have my freedom without fear, I tanya kennedy will escape this foul place. That night I fell asleep plotting my freedom. Yes! I can walk about the house the now, first I'm going to sneak into my parents room and get a key( my dad getsa bad hangovers and my mum is a very heavy sleeper) then I'll take 1 outfit and leave but make a not just saying I love you to mum. I got up and tiptoed to the doorway and ever so slowly I creaked the door opened....... Nothing. Then I tiptoed/ran to the unit where the keys were but I heard my dad stir, I was like a statue but I got them ok. I cried as I took my outfit and made a sandwich but not because of not wanting to leave because I'm leaving my mum with this maniac. As I walked out the front door I made a silent promise to come back and help mum, some day.
As I walked away from the building and felt extremely porud of myself until 2 days later. I felt hungry and sore, I wonder how my mum was..... I dropped my hat, as I went to crouch down and pick it up people started throwing me money. An hour later I had 6 pounds! Enough to by my dinner. I left gregs with a stake bake in my hand and a smile on my face. It was quickly hit from my hand "hey-" I went to say but a hooded figure stepped out and blocked my path "your dads looking for you tanya" I went to protest but he bodily lift me and threw me in a car trunk with my mouth gagged and hands tied. I recognised the guy, he was my dads drinking buddy. Suddenly I felt chlostrophobic and couldn't breath properly, I blacked out after that.
