"Tom? What are you doing here?" Marco said as he closed his bedroom door behind him. He had just gotten home from school and Star had gone off to do something with Janus. He had planned to finish his homework then maybe make some nachos, only to have Tom appear while he did his homework.
"Marco thank god I found you, I wanted to know if we could hang out, and before you ask no it's not for my anger management classes." Tom said as he stepped down from Marco's desk.
"Why would you wanna hang out with me? Star's with Janus if it's something about her."
"That doesn't matter, I just want an excuse to not be in hell right now. My parents are having company over and it's an absolute nightmare."
"Really? Who are they having over?" He asked while putting his finished homework away. Tom was obviously going to be staying a while.
Tom shuddered while replying, "Mom's friends" and left it at that.
Sensing Tom's mood Marco decided to change the subject. "Well I was planning on making nachos, want some?"
"Yes nachos!"
