Unexpected Mate

Chapter 2

Lilly's POV

This isn't good. Von just saw what happened. Hes going to kill them. I got to do something and fast. Christian tightens his grip on me as my brother and the other two walk closer. I push against his chest hard making him losen his grip.

His sister hids her head in my chest scared. I push her to Christian as I slip from his grip. He trys to grab my wrist but I was out of reach. I run over to my brother as he growls. "Don't hurt them."

He snaps at me. 'THEY TRIED TO HURT YOU!'

I roll my eyes. "They were being protective."

He growls. 'THATS NOT A GOOD REASON FOR ME!"

I growl back. "Don't yell at me."

He turns his attention to behind me growling. 'If that guy takes another step closer I will kill him.'

I turn a bit to see Christian walking over to me. Looking back at my brother I growl. "Touch him and I'll kill you. Even if your my brother."

He looked at me. His eyes meet mine for a second then he turns and barks an order to the other two and they left into the trees. I turn to Christian with a sheepish smile. He grabs my wrist pulling me to him as he wraps his arms tightly around me.

Behind him I could see his parents watching us. "I thought he was going to take you away from me."

I smile as I take in his scent. "No one will take me from you."

He smiles as we turn to see his parents relaxed a bit. We walk over and his mother holds out, what I'm guessing is Christians shirt from earlier. I slide it on  and it slides down about mid thigh. Christian wraps an arm around my waist holding me close to him.

A growl rumbles through my head. I hold my head as Christian looks at me with concern. 'Come Home Now.'

I look at Christian. Why now? I wanted to get to know my mate. "My father is calling me."

He looks at me a bit sad. "Why can't you stay?"

I look at him sad. "My father will send people if I don't go soon."

He looks down. "Will you come back?"

I smile as I lift his chin so his eyes meet mine. "I'll come back. I can't stay away from you."

He pulls me in and gives my one more kiss before I throw his shirt off and give it to him. He gives me a smile as I mirror it and run off towards the woods shifting mid run. At the tree line a turn to look at Christian to see him holding his little sister who was reaching out for me.

I whine escapse my muzzle as I turn and run towards home. Thoughts run through my head as I run. Is his mom like his step father? Does he have power like that too? Will my father tell me to stay away from him?

A million thoughts went through my head. I did even notice that my father was standing infront of me till I ran into him. My head pounds as I shake my head. I look up at my dad who looked pissed. He grabs me by the scruff on the back of my neck making me whine.

He walks to the house holding me not far off the ground. I see my brother pissed off as he stands by the back door. I'm in deep shit. My father takes me to his office and closes the door so were alone. I shift then sit in a chair in front of his desk.

I eyes stayed on the floor as he took his seat. "Lilly."

My eyes looked at him a bit. "Yes father?"

His eyes filled with relief. "I thought I was going to lose you."

I felt tears steam down my cheeks. "He wasn't going to hurt me. Were mates."

He seem to not like that. "What pack is he from?"

I swallow. "I don't know. I didn't get a chance to ask, but his mother and step father arn't werewolves."

He looked at me like I was crazy. "You go near him again and he might snap."

I growl. "He wont hurt me for the millionth time."

He sighs. "Bring him here and we shall see if he is worthy the be with you."

I smile. "So he has a chance?"

He nods. "Yes one chance."

I get up and run around the desk and hug him. He never gives people chances with me. "Thank you daddy. I'll bring him here in a few."

He chuckles and nods as I run out of his office. I run to my room and get so clothes to take with me this time. Grabing a small bag and put my clothes in it. I run down the stairs and out the back door. To be stopped by Von.

I give a little growl. "Move."

He grabs my hand and drags me back inside. "No your staying here."

I pull out of his grip. "No, I going to get Christian."

He tences and looks at me. "Christian? The freak from when we were younger?"

I blink. "What are you talking about?"

He sighs. "You don't remember cause of your accident."

I glare at him. Yeah I forgot stuff from when I was 6 and younger cause I fell out of one of the tallest trees that was about 4 stories. Don't ask how I got up that far but I did. Everything is still fuzzy from that day but I survived it.

He sighed knowing I would get at him for talking about it anymore. "I'm going and you can't stop me."

I turned and ran before he could say anything. Into the trees I shift and carry my bag in my mouth. Didn't take me long to get to the clearing. I stopped behind a tree and shift, putting my clothes on. When I walked into the clearing I saw Chirstian sitting on a rock watching the steam.

Slowly I approch him, not making a sound. My shoe sliped on a rock making my fall. I caught myself as I look up to see Christian laughing at me. "Don't laugh. I'm not used to wearing shoes."

He gets up and helps me up. "Well you look beautiful in your clothes."

I blush at I remember I was naked the first time. Odd that being naked infront of my brother and father doesn't bother me. "Thanks. I want you to come with me to meet my father."

He looks scared. "Your father? So soon."

I look at him sad then give him a kiss. He kisses me back and pulls me closer to him. I pull away and smile. "My father want to make sure your good enough for me. Strong enough."

He nuzzles my neck and sighs. "Okay I'll go with you and meet your father."

Christian's POV

What did I just agree to? Meeting her father. The alpha. He's not going to find me worthy of her. I'm half werewolf and half wizard for crying out loud. He would hunt me down if I ever did anything to her.
