STEVE POV:
Buck and I are laying on our shared bed together, both on our backs, my arm around him, cuddling "I'm glad HYDRA took me." I sigh "Not this again, Buck. You didn't deserve it, how many times do I have to tell you that?" He rolls so that he's laying on top of me, looking down at me "If they hadn't I wouldn't be here today. I would've died in the war and you would've never seen me again."

I remember that feeling, I wouldn't want to live like that forever.

"They trained me into an assassin, but you brought me back, you and that stupid tattoo." He takes my right hand in his own right hand and looks at my soul tattoo, it's in the shape of a sun with rays around it, but it's black ink. In the centre in blue ink (because Buck's eyes are blue) are his initials JB. I look at his right hand, the sun in black with a blue SR in the centre, for me.

Wait! He doesn't know about the other one, does he? We've been so busy getting Buck back and now settling him into the tower that I haven't mentioned it. I'm so stupid!

I look to his left hand, his metal one, he lost his hand so he never got his other soul tattoo "Buck." "What is it? What's wrong? Did I do something!?" "Calm down. You lost your arm back in the war, so-" "I know, I have a constant reminder." "Buck, just listen." He shuts his mouth and nods, I take a deep breath "Since we've been so busy lately I haven't spoken to you about it and I've been in uniform a lot of the time so I've been wearing gloves or I've been wearing long sleeves." He gives me a suspicious look "I'm a bit surprised you hadn't yet noticed, but I understand, you've had a lot on your mind and didn't even consider it..." "Get to the point Stevie." He sits up, stradling me. I grip his right hand with my left "Buck, look down."

Please don't freak out, please don't freak out!

He cautiously looks down, I'm not sure if he's noticed it, that is until I see his eyes widen and he pulls my hand closer to his face "MC, who's that? Who's MC?" "I don't know. I woke up from the ice and it was there, I thought at first Peggy, her full name was Margaret Carter, but I didn't have the tattoo before I went into the ice, which means-" "Which means she or he was born since then." "Exactly." "And I had no idea, because I only have one hand and that has you on. It makes sense."

And I haven't had much of a chance to find MC because I haven't been out of the ice for long and have been busy with being an Avenger.

He jumps off the bed and I sit up "We need to find MC! It's no coincidence that both of us have stayed so young since the war and survived this long. It's because our other soulmate hadn't even been born yet. If none of this happened he or she may have been left alone." "Okay, Buck. I'm with you, we need to find them, but how?" Then the excitement from his voice disappears "Oh."
