James' eyes blinked open. The memory of last night was replaying itself in his head and refused to stop. Holly had gone missing. He couldn't tell reality  from dreams anymore. He and Holly had been in the feild behind the house. The full moon over head. James' shoulderbag was filled with things to give to her, he was so happy to see her.

They walked further away from the house, right into the center of the feild. He looked around, the fresh air from the empty feild was so refreshing. The only thing growing in the feild was grass, soft grass against their bare feet. Holly looked down at his shoulder bag. "What did you bring here?" She asked. Her voice was smooth as silk, he could listen to her talk forever. "Oh, it's nothing really, just some things I got for you." He looked at her, She was wearing a white dress, the bottom and top rimmed in orange. There was a light green bow on the back of her head, complimenting her light green eyes. She held her long dark brown hair in her hand, fiddling with it. James looked down at his pale blue, ripped denim jeans and pure white shirt. His hair was also dark brown and scruffy.

James ran his hand through his hair and then sank it into his bag. "Here, this is for you." He said and handed Holly a  little music box. She smiles and slowly turned the handle. The song that came from it was a simple tune. Holly looked into his light blue eyes. "Did you make this yourself?" She asked. James smiled and nodded. Him and Holly had made this song together. He played it on his flute and she would sing. Holly began to dance and sing. "The moon and the sun come together as one, let's forget the time now that you're here." She sang softly. James pulled his flute out of his bag and played the song and danced too.

They danced for hours untill they could dance no longer. James put his flute away and Holly stopped singing. Suddenly Holly's head snapped up. "Did you hear that?" She asked quietly. "Hear what?" James asked but before she could answer and pure black hand smashed through the earth and grasped Holly's anckle. She cried out in shock and fell onto the mud. "Holly!" James ran forward but something tripped him and he fell next to her. Holly screamed and the hand dragged her to where ever it had come from. The earth swallowed both the hand and Holly and James' eyes blinked open.
