Amethyst Blade

Chapter 1

CHAPTER 1: THE BEGINNING

My mom was a scientist for the government. My dad is the owner of a restaurant. I was a blonde beauty. At least that's what my mom says. I was loved by my family, my best friend, and my boyfriend. I loved going in my backyard and go in the woods. One day I went into the woods. I went to my favorite tree. I climbed to my branch that looked like a seat. I read a book until it got dark. I never lost my way in the woods. This one fateful day I took the wrong path and found a shack. It started getting cold so I went into the shack. I went inside and found a lantern and matches. I checked my phone and I had one bar. I was so happy I jumped up and down. When I looked I saw that I lost the signal. I sat down and started crying. So then I lit the lantern. There must have been someone else in the shack because I heard someone moving. My lantern went out, and I was left in the dark. I felt something touch my leg. I looked down and saw wires wrapping around my legs. I checked my phone and I saw that I had one bar. I called my boyfriend,Aidan, he picked up on the first ring.

" Hello, my love, are you okay? You sound terrified. Where are you?" Aidan said.

" Aidan, help me. Go to my favorite tree and take a left. Hurry. " I said quickly. I lost the connection.

" My love, are you there?" he said. He hung up the phone, grabbed his coat, and ran to find me. I passed out from fear. I woke up in a room. I heard two people talking.

" I know, she is a real beauty. I just wish she would love me." the first one said.

" I know, but , Ben, you did kidnap her. I don't think she will ever love you." the second one said.

" Shut up, Toby. Nobody asked for your opinion." Ben said. I now knew both of their names. Ben and Toby walked in. I pretended that I was sleeping. I twisted and turned, " in my sleep". Ben came over and moved hair out of my face. My eyes flew open, and I was about to scream when he put his hand over my mouth.

"Shush or i'll have to hurt you,and I don't want to hurt you" Ben said to me. I closed my mouth and prayed to my guardian angel. Ben and Toby left the room. I looked around the room. There was a bed, a dresser, a bookshelf, a vanity, and a makeup caddy. I walked over to the bookshelf. I noticed I was limping. I looked on the bookshelf. There were horror, romance, fantasy, science fiction, and comic books. I picked up a romance novel and started reading it while pacing around the room. I heard footsteps coming towards my room. They knocked on the door.

" May I come in." the voice called. I walked to the door, and I opened it. I saw Slenderman, the leader of the creepypastas, he walked in my room. I went over to the bed and sat down. I kept quiet. He looked at me with peaked interest. I turned my head. My face turned bright red. I waited until Slenderman was done speaking then he walked out of my room. I looked around my room for some clothes other than the sweatpants and sweatshirt that I was wearing now. I looked in the dresser and there was skirts and sweaters. It was like my dresser at home. I had to hold back a sob. I went into the bathroom and changed. I then put some makeup on. My eyeshadow was a very light purple. My lips were light pink. I looked so much better. I was putting mascara on when Ben came into my room. His jaw was to the floor. He closed his mouth and came over. He sat by me while I finished putting mascara on. He then waited until I found shoes to wear. I picked a pair of light purple heels. I put them on.

" Well, Emma you look amazing." Ben said. He told me we were going to meet everyone. I went downstairs with Ben. I went into the living room. I sat on the couch. Around 13 people were in the living room. I was seated in between Ben and Toby. I was introduced to Jeff, EJ, LJ, Masky, Hoodie, Slash, Sally, Jane,Nina, Offenderman, and Trenderman. I smiled at everyone. I started shaking and Ben wrapped a blanket around me. Ben brought me back up to my room. I changed into pajamas. I layed in my bed. Within five minutes I was asleep. I slept until I felt myself being shaken awake. I was back in the shack. Ben's face was above me.

" Ben, how did I get here?" I said. I knew the answer, but I thought I outgrew sleepwalking. His answer confirmed my fears.

" You were sleepwalking." he said. I started pacing, and Ben noticed I was limping.

" Emma, you're limping. Sit down and let me see. Emma, I think that you sprained your ankle." Ben said. He looked around the shack and found some old fabric. He wrapped it around my ankle. We walked back to the mansion. When we got there everybody crowded around Ben and I. I started getting claustrophobic. Ben got me out of there and to my room. Ben examined my ankle and realized he had no idea what he was doing. He called in nurse Anne. She came over and diagnosed me with a broken ankle. Ben had laughed. I was stuck there for a while. At least six weeks.
