Most fairy tales begin with Once Upon a Time or A Long Time Ago, mine doesn't. My fairytale begins with chaos and is filled with trials and confusion. Everything worked out in the end, otherwise I, of course, wouldn't be telling the story. I could tell you that my story was like magic, that a handsome prince came and swept me off my feet, but that's not how it went. I had no prince, although I was certainly swept off my feet. My story would not be my story if it didn't tell what really happened so many long years ago. So, I guess I should get started with my tale of chaos and loss and romance, so here we go...
