Tammy and Marc met in the supermarket, possibly in the weirdest strangest way possible. Tammy was buying tampons, Marc was grabbing some shampoo. Weird. Random. Fate. He was smooth, very smooth. He was the funniest, cutest, dorkiest guy Tammy had ever met. He wasn't shy, after about five minutes of small talk in possibly the most awkward circumstance Tammy had ever been in when flirting with a man...buying tampons, he asked her on a date. The rest was history. They had absolutely everything in common. Their only difference was their work, while Marc was three years into his residency as an orthopaedic surgeon Tammy was a very successful business woman who's work just happened to be entirely in criminal enterprise.
It was almost the tipping point in their relationship, after about four months of dating Tammy finally came clean about her work and told Marc the truth. It didn't go down well and they had a massive fight, the worst fight they would ever have in their relationship. It took some time and a thorough amount of discussion but he soon came around and his disgust and shock soon turned into something he found very alluring and sexy.
They got married after three years of dating and bought themselves a HUGE house in Connecticut. It was a two-story traditional white-wood house with a stunning landscape. Not only was the house massive with six bedrooms and five bathrooms, the land the house was on was three acres. It was obscene. The swimming pool was Olympic sized with a two bedroom pool house situated right behind it. The garden was manicured to perfection with rose gardens, a green house, chicken coop and vegie garden. It was the house of just about everyone's dreams. Their jobs had very evident perks. Despite its beauty, it took them a long time to agree on buying such an extravagance. Tammy didn't think it was at all necessary to have such a big house just because they could afford it, but Marc insisted they needed the space for all the babies they were going to have.
The discussion of children was a never ending one between the two. Marc came from a very small family, he only had one brother while Tammy was the opposite, she had a huge family. She was one of five kids; two boys, three girls. Not to mention a ridiculous number of cousins and extended family. Tammy wanted two kids, Marc wanted six. She managed to bring him down to four, quietly hoping he'd eventually settle for two. Tammy loved her big family but it was easy to be ignored in all that noise. Her parents were busy, hardworking people that spent most of their time working to support their big family. Tammy didn't mind the noise and chaos but it was hard to be seen and heard in all that noise. She didn't want that for her kids, she wanted them to feel seen and heard at every moment of the day.
In the end they settled for three but not on purpose, they were happy with their two and didn't plan for more...but babies are very rarely planned. James was their first. They didn't want it to be a forced thing so they just decided to stop trying to not get pregnant and it worked a charm. The newlywed bliss and the power of love is fairly strong aphrodisiac and Tammy got pregnant almost straight away, unsurprisingly.
Her first pregnancy was horrid and so were the next two. She hated absolutely every minute of it. She had never felt more betrayed by all the movies, books and bullshiters on social media, pregnancy was far from a glowingly enjoyable experience... at least for her.
The one thing everyone was right about is that you almost forget all of it once the baby is born and Tammy and Marc were blessed with pretty easy newborns.
Eighteen months after James was born, Tammy had Lily and BAM! They had two under two! It was absolute chaos and they didn't get much sleep but they loved it. It was clear to them and just about everyone else that Tammy and Marc were destined to be parents.
Things soon settled and it got a little easier to handle two very active children. Marc started his own private practice and Tammy's business was growing significantly. They were making strides in all aspects of life! A little obnoxiously really, but they were beyond grateful.
A third pregnancy was definitely not something either of them were anticipating or planning for, especially with the increasing pace of their businesses but they adjusted and Harry was the perfect final addition to their family. Seven years together, four years of marriage and three kids. Their life was chaos, but it was happy chaos.
