Max thought his life was boring, hanging out with friends all day and going to school was simply not fun anymore, then they got curious about sex and everything changed, they went full puberty searching porn magazines and tapes because none of them had internet or even a phone, so the 5 friends went berserk searching for something, they never found anything, anyways, max didn't had a lot of friends, his classmates were just that, classmates, he was all alone in the school, watching the other play, run and do what kids do, he liked a girl, he thought she would reject him if he confessed to her, so he never even talked to her, she was diagnosed with cancer in Max's birthday, died exactly a year after.
At this point max was 12 and very sad
