"The Monsters"

I wrote this for a theater project hope you enjoy I also wrote it in the woods

I use to walk in and receive a 'Hi! How was your day?, What did you learn?" But now all I get is you screaming in my face. (Depressing sigh) they got you didn't they. (Angry) Huh you let them get you right?!? You used to be such a great person... (Remembering memory) Remember that day you let me miss school and had a girls day out? (Sad) You changed. (Confused) Why? Why did you do this to yourself? (Excitement) You got better!! (Sad sigh) for a little bit. You went off the deep end again. Your gone now... They took you... You let them swoop in and slowly consume your life. You said you'd try, but you didn't. And now (pause) your gone. Just (pause) ( sigh) gone.....
