Chapter 1: Intro I Guess?

          I woke up with some sort of start, I guess. "Alright Dawn, we've got to go in a bit. Get ready bro!" I know Night I know", he answered. So we rode to the restaurant.

          We arrived at the restaurant. We were the first two there. We both sat down and had a conversation. "I thought they'd be here first..." I told him. "Yeah it's totally unlike the two of them to keep us waiting..." Dawn answered. "Hey boys!" Mika yelled from the other end of the restaurant. She was dragging Firepaw behind her, Firepaw trying to keep up. "She seems excited." Dawn whispered to me. I snickered a little bit. "Hey girls, your late" I scowled at them. "Sorry, Mika took FOREVER to get ready!" Fire said, a bit exaggerated "Well next time she better get her butt ready in time..", Dawn whispered. I elbowed Dawn and gave him a side eye. Both the girls sat down, just in time for the waiter. We ordered and waited for our food. Mika and Dawn just sat there staring at each other. "So how's your morning..?" I asked Firepaw. "Uhm, fine, I guess" She answered in a shy voice. "Hey it's alright, just because it's a double date doesn't mean you've got to be any bit of shy. "I know... I'm just uhm..." her words ended there and she looked down. "What's wrong?" I said. "I just thought you were joking. I thought it was just me and you.." She said quietly. "Oh, would you like to go somewhere with me and you, or is it to late for that now..?" I asked "Oh! Uhm.." She took a pause. "I... guess...".

          A tie, a suit all that jazz. I was stuffed. I forgot what time I set the date up. It popped into my head, and I started my car. "Hello, Fire", I said as I poked her in the back. "Oh! Hey!" She said with her facial expression very happy. I causally sat next to her on the blanket lied on the ground. It was late, and I didn't realize it. There was a romantic setting with the sunset on horizon and the hill above it, where we were sitting. The rest of that time was just me and her. Together. You know the usual dates... Holding hands, talking with each other about random things. "You know... uhm..." I stopped there. "Yeah... I know when I blush mist comes out of my eye... deal with it!" Firepaw told me. "Oh.. I wasn't going to say that... I think that's cute though, since you mentioned it." I said. She gave a small giggle and rested her shoulder on my head. And there I was, staring at the sunset with my favorite girl.

        "Good morning Night!" Dawn said leaning over me in my bed. I opened my eye and stared at him. I gave a casual "Five more minuuutes" and smashed my pillow on my face. "Nyaaaaaa" I yawned out. He ripped off my covers. "GET OUT OF BED!" He yelled at me. "FIIIINE" I whined. It's been like that everyday. There wasn't anything happening that day. I decided I should check up on what Fire was doing. She was my top priority most of the time. Before.. nevermind. I decided to call her. "Hey, what's goin' on?" I told her. "Oh! Night! I was just going to call you to see if you wanted to come skating with me and Mika." She answered. "Oh.. Uhm. Maybe another time. I don't like skating, and I'm pretty tired." I answered back, think I could have another day with her, realizing it's stupid to think I could have her all to myself. "Oh.. that's okay. Another time maybe!" "Okay, bye Fire." I said. "Bye Night.." The next day, I called her again. "No, I'm free today if you want to hang out." Said Fire. I beamed. "Okay, Sure! I'll be at your place around 5:00." "Okay, see ya there!" She said.
