Waking up is the best part of my day... Most people will say that they prefer the sweet slumber and the abyss of your mind.

Me?

Not so much, I have things chasing me.. Things that makes me wanting to stay awake.
Things I don't want catching me in all honesty....

I rolled out of bed with the cold tiles under my warm feet. The fresh morning breeze softly blowing in my window.
Sitting on the side and just thinking of what just happened, with a tired mind and somewhat energized body I get up to the shower to wake up fully.

After 15 minutes of the soft water running down my body, I get out and get dressed, while drying my light short somewhat growing out pixie hair and deciding weather to even bother with make up, I decide to work on my speech for today.

Standing in front of the mirror, taking in a deep breath and mustering up a smile.

'Good morning ladies and gentleman, my name is Ruth and I am here to present our new product.'

OH word I suck... I know I suck....

Fuck it I'll wing it.

I have never decided to wing so much shit in my life. And in all honesty... Its always a bad idea.

I decided to go with a white blouse with elbow sleeves. Paired with black office pants and black heals.
Going with a natural make up look and some golden looped earrings, and a golden Cross necklace.

No need for breakfast or coffee.

The day I decided to follow this career was the day I decided to work until I no longer need to introduce myself, no time for a social life or even food, but when I sleep... I have to face them. I have to fight.

I got into my car and drove to work.
It's time to introduce myself.

30 minutes later... Yes... Traffic.

Stopping on my usual parking and moving to the lift I see that there is a shadow behind me. I lightly sniffed the air... I know that smell... It's -

'Boo!!'

Fucking Ricardo!!

'You mother Trucker!!!'

'Cumon Ruth don't tell me I gave you a fright?'

Let me be a little sarcastic , shall I?

'No... I could smell you tho.'

His face went straight

'Not funny'

I couldn't stop laughing at his face.
The little bit of joy.

As we exited the lift I noticed Ricardo is a bit off...

'Ricy you good?'

'Yeah, I couldn't have my morning fun and then it ended in an argument.. You know, Im losing my interest, we are drifting apart and she never really helps me with anything anymore. She's more on her phone that actually interacting with me'.

'Ricy you need to tell her these things. Never say that you're losing interest. That girl loves you. Fix it and talk to her, tell her what you told me.'

He just looked at me and smiled, he then walked off to his desk.
And I did the same.

As I approached my desk I noticed there was a chocolate on my keyboard... Awww...

My desk is simple... Standard size desk with a computer box, keyboard, and then the double screen monitor. Mouse to the right and then my book on my left.

I log on and open my e mails.

As soon as it is open I see that I have 5 e mails... Most of then are spam, but then there is something that stood out...

I got a e mail from my boss. Now my boss rarely sends me a mail that is not high importance.
As I opened the mail I grinned like an idiot.

'Good morning Ruth! Please remember about the presentation today, you are one of our best agents and this will really put you on the map. GOOD LUCK!!
PS : Chocolate to calm the nerves'

That was so sweet of her!!

After I replied to the mail and thanking her. I stood up and moved to the kitchen for some water.

This is going to be a long day...
