The People of the Clouds

Acnautia. A land where the living roam as humans and the deceased move on to heaven, or hell. But what happens to those left behind?

Those who stay without purpose, are in something similar to purgatory. They stay in the clouds, or come down to earth, where they roam as ethereal cloud figures. They have three options. Move on to heaven or hell, stay with another cloud figure, or move on with a human, and return to your human body.

Eren
A clever boy, always has been. 20 years old, turning 21 on February 26. His father left him as a babe, and his mother was forced to raise him alone. He left school at age 15 to help his mother with her work, but continued studies at home. Lives in Acnautia.

Freya
A girl of the clouds, wanders earth frequently both looking for a human to link with, and mothering the neglected children she sees. She passed on at the age of 21, and has been dead for several years now(cloud people don't age).
