unexpected change in plans

Today was like any other day out in space. [y/n] was walking to the food court in the Aurora. [y/n] sat down with their friends who were already eating and Mike making jokes. Amy laughing with milk coming out of her nose. [y/n] pulled their data pad out from their bag and started to reading about different plants we have passed by on our journey. "[y/n] what do you think?" Asked Mike. I looked up from their data pad and asked " about what?" Amy laughs and says "you are such a bookworm." "what do think about the journey?" Asked Mike. [y/n] looked at Mike and thought about it and as [y/n] was about to answer Mike. The sirens and red lights off indicating that the ship has been hit. Everyone grabbed their bag and ran as fast as they could to an escape pod. [y/n] gets in their pod, straps in, and hits the eject button. [y/n] can feel the pod go through the planet's atmosphere. Then the impact of the pod crashing caused a piece of a panel fly off pouncing around and hits [y/n] in the head knocking them unconscious. After a few hours [y/n] wakes up feeling like the pod is burning. [y/n] unbuckles from the chair and grabs the fire extinguisher putting out the fire. I set the extinguisher in the supply box and check the food supply. "I must have landed in a body of water" [y/n] thought. As she feels the pod rock gently back and forth. [y/n] walks over to the ladder, leading to the top of the pod, climbing up the ladder and open the hatch. [y/n] looks at her surroundings seeing what looks like an endless ocean and the destroyed Aurora ship. That had crashed 2,500 miles away from her pod, [y/n] opens their data pad. The A.I. system kicks on "greetings survivor, great job not dying. To assist you in further survival in emergency situations. You have been issued this personal data assistant. The interface visible now will organize your inventory." [y/n] looks at the data pad seeing that they need resources for machinery they need. Puts the data pad into their pocket and jumps int the water. Looking around the sea floor finding debris from the Aurora and picks up some for to make titanium.
