The Avengers-Girl's Night

Start from the beginning

Suddenly, the TV shut off, plunging the living room into complete darkness.

"What the hell?"
"What happened? Nat?"
"Y/N?"

Wanda's powers lit up as she flicked her hand, conjuring a red ball of energy. She directed it around the room, but found nothing out of the ordinary.

"JARVIS? What's going on?" Natasha asked.

"I'm afraid my protocols are being overridden, Ms. Romanoff."
"Overridden? By who?"

"You're just too good to be true,
Can't take my eyes off of you,
You'd be like heaven to touch,
I wanna hold you so much."

Tony's voice echoed over the sound system and you stifled a laugh as Natasha's expression contorted into one of pure annoyance.

"At long last love has arrived,
And I thank God I'm alive,
You're just too good to be true,
Can't take my eyes off of you."

The three of you listened as the system went silent and a low hiss traveled through the room, indicating the elevator doors were opening. Before any of you could react, the lights turned back on and the men that had just entered the room began to sing along dramatically with the song as it played overhead.

"I love you, BABY!
And if it's quite all right, I need you BABY!
To warm the lonely nights,
I love you, baby,
Trust in me when I saaay."

Natasha rolled her eyes as Steve swept her into his arms and he led her around the room to dance. Thor caught the flustered Wanda by her hand and Bucky held out his arm to you with a big smile.

"It was Steve's idea. Care to dance?"
"You guys aren't getting away with this." You said, taking his arm.
"Oh trust me. If it weren't for the fact that she likes him back, he'd probably be in a body bag."

"Good thing he's intuitive." You smiled as Bucky wrapped an arm around your waist and held your hand in his metal one.
"When he's not being a self-sacrificing ass." Bucky muttered and you laughed.

The others had trouped into the living room and seeing as there were no other girls to dance with, partnered up. Clint took a snapping Pietro in his arms and Tony and Bruce danced around, carelessly bumping into everyone. Loki gave Sam a "don't-even-think-about-it" look, who returned it with equal loathing.

As you swayed in Bucky's arms, you looked around the room, gazing happily at your family as they laughed and danced to the music. Natasha had her lips locked on Steve's, who was a blushing mess and Wanda was even worse as Thor brushed his fingers across her cheek.

"Sorry for crashing your Girl's Night." Bucky whispered into your ear. You shivered involuntarily as his cool breath fanned across your neck and you pulled back to look him in the eye.

"It's okay. You'll all be paying for it sooner or later."
Bucky didn't know if you were joking as your eyes gleamed with mischief, but he decided to ignore it as you laid your head on his shoulder. Something he probably shouldn't have done, except he was too caught up in the fact that he finally had the girl he'd been dying to have in his arms with him in that moment.

Two weeks later

"AHHHHHHH!"

Bucky quickly sat up at the inhuman sound and in his rush to get out of bed, got tangled up in the sheets and fell on his face.
He threw them off and yanked his door open to find a blue-haired Clint shrieking wordlessly in the hall. Steve and Sam who were on the same floor opened their doors, rubbing exhaustion out of their eyes.

"What the hell is going on?" Sam groaned.
Bucky clapped a hand over his mouth.

Steve's hair was colored red, white and blue and white sticker stars were scattered all over his face. Someone had drawn oversized goggles around Sam's eyes in Sharpie and a big BIRDBRAIN was stamped on his forehead.

"Bucky!" Steve squeaked.
"What? What?" He asked desperately.
"You-your arm! Your hair!"

Bucky slowly looked down at his metal arm and he froze. Someone had colored it a neon pink and black snowflakes were drawn all over it. Pink highlights slashed through his dark brown hair, accompanying his limb. The men stared at each other, their mouths half open in shock when a loud, screeching noise erupted from the sound system.

"Friday's are for the girls, boys. Enjoy your makeovers!" Natasha crowed.

The chorus of "Can't Take My Eyes Off of You" began to play and all four men cringed as guttural screams began to ring throughout the rest of the Tower.

"I'd hate to see what everyone else looks like." Steve muttered.

Bonus

*You colored Tony's head and facial hair a bright gold. He accepted it after he woke up and screeched at the sight. Better than the last time they had snuck into Girl's Night and he ended up getting all his facial hair shaved off. It took him awhile to forgive any of you.

*Natasha tied Thor to his bed frame by his hair in the most complex way. It took the others four hours to get him out, but he didn't complain about it. He'd probably get socked in the throat if he tried to do anything back, so he rolled with his cropped hair.

*Bruce was let off the hook. None of you wanted to trigger him.

*Natasha was the only one who could sneak up on Loki, so she colored his hair a bright silver color and drew a monocle over his eye with a swirly mustache to complete the look.
To say he was pissed would be an understatement.

*All of you duct taped Pietro to the ceiling. He was a heavy sleeper and it took all three of you to get him up, but once he was against the ceiling, Wanda used her powers to keep him propped upright. You and Nat proceeded to duct tape him and when you were finished, made sure he would stay. He was screaming his head off when he woke up.
