Chapter 2

So Ashley did as she was told, because who wouldn't pack their bags if Luke Bryan told them to? 'Oh my god oh my god. I'm going home with The Luke Bryan.' thought Ashley as she finished packing. 'How did I get so lucky? Oh my what am I gonna do? What do I say to Caroline or Bo or Tate? Damn Luke isn't really gonna give me time to mentally prepare myself for this.' Ashley hurried down the stairs to meet Luke and Mrs. Rosie. "Alrighty then Luke, you are free to take Ashley home. Just remember a few things: 1.) Ashley loves you and your family. You may need to give her some time to prepare herself before she meets your wife and kids. 2.) She really isn't that good with big changes. Be careful because she might have a panic attack. And 3.) Be careful with breakable things. She has a history of breaking everything in sight if she gets mad enough." " Well darlin, I guess we better go if we wanna meet Caroline and the boys before my show tonight." Luke took Ashley out to his truck and put here stuff in the back. "We have about an hour before we get to where we're going. If you want to, you can sleep for a bit." So Ashley decided to turn on some music and try to fall asleep. But she was way too excited to sleep. She was finally adopted! And by Luke Bryan! All of her dreams have come true. But she did finally fall asleep to the sound of Luke Bryan's hit song, That's My Kind Of Night.

Ashley woke up about 15 minutes before they would arrive and meet the family. She couldn't help but stare at Luke as he drove. The way his hands griped the steering wheel when he got a little perturbed at other drivers, the way he would laugh when he saw Ashley looking at him. He was perfect. 'No wonder Caroline married him. Hot damn, he is even more perfect in person.' Luke and Ashley arrived at their destination. "Alright Ashley, we are gonna meet Caroline and the boys. Then you'll have a choice to make. You can either come with me to the concert tonight, or you can go back to Tennessee with Caroline. You don't have to chose now, but pretty soon. So be thinking about it." 'Oh my god. I either go with Luke and meet the band or go with caroline. Hmmm, I think I'll go with Luke. But I'm not sure. Damn why are decisions so hard to make?' Luke and Ashley made their way to where Caroline and the boys were. "Caroline, I would like you to meet the newest addition to our family, Ashley. She is 14 years old and a big fan of us." "Hi Ashley. My name is Caroline, and there are our two boys, Bo and Tate." Ashley couldn't say a thing. She was to busy admiring how beautiful caroline looked in person. "Well, why don't Caroline and Ashley have some time to talk. Me, Bo and Tate will be over their if you need us," Luke said as he pointed to a little playground. "We'll be back in umm lets say 15 minutes." Luke flashed one of his perfect smiles and walked off.

"So Ashley, tell me about yourself. If your gonna be my daughter, I need to know what you're like."

"Well, my parents died when I was 2 and I've been in an orphanage ever since. I'm in love with you and your family. I have a horrible taste of fashion. Ummm I think that's all." 'holy shit I am talking to the Caroline Bryan. Ahhhh' thought Ashley. "Well Ashley, I think you will fit in perfectly with our family. And as for the fashion part, I think I can help you with that. How bout we go clothes shopping tomorrow. We can get some new clothes for school. Oh and by the way, did Luke tell you about going to the concert tonight? I think Bo, Tate, and I will come too and then we can go shopping tomorrow. How does that sound?" "Well I think that sounds perfect. Thank you so much Caroline." "no problem. Anything for my daughter."

Luke, Bo and Tate came back about 15 minutes later. Caroline told Luke about her decision to all go to the concert and then have us go shopping tomorrow. "That sounds perfect. And while you and Ashley shop, Bo, Tate, and I can have some man time," Luke said. Ashley couldn't help but laugh. 'Wow, the are the perfect family. I can't believe I am so lucky to be apart of this wonderful family.' "So now that that is settled, Ashley you can come with me and we will go to the concert for sound check." So with that, Ashley followed Luke back outside, and they left. It was about an hours drive to the concert. Luke told Ashely she could sleep some more and she did. Then someone woke her up at the concert. It wasn't Luke.
