They stayed for an hour and they had messy faces as Robert took them to the restroom to get cleaned up. The restaurant gave each child a Halloween coloring book set with crayons and stickers for free. The triplets each got one and said their thanks.
"Now off to home," Robert replied "To see nana and nona."
"Your home?" Stef asked.
"Yeah I ordered something on Amazon and it's for the triplets and I texted Lena."
"Oh," Stef replied as the triplets were ready.
"BYE MOMMY!" they replied as Stef nodded and hugged them hard as she eyed Robert as he nodded and left.
At the mansion, Robert got out and took the huge box and ran toward his car and sped off to his mom's home and his dad was had just got in.
"Granddaddy!" the three said as he hugged them all.
"My grandchildren!" he replied. "Nana's in the kitchen. Sugar cookies."
"Nona?" they asked.
"Asleep," he replied. "She had a long day."
They each got two sugar cookies and a glass of milk each as they ate in the kitchen and they washed their plates and glasses as their grandparents knew it was how they were being raised and they didn't want to start anything with Lena.
In the master bedroom, Raquel Quinn took out the costumes as good memories flooded Robert when his childhood was bearable because of the mother of his children.
"WOW!" the triplets replied as they found themselves in a costume each. They loved Dr. Seuss and Thing 1 and Thing 2, but it was going to be Thing 1, Thing 2 and Thing 3 together.
"Caleb, Callum and Callie nana made these years ago and kept them in good condition," Robert replied.
"And your daddy, mama and Uncle Jackson used them every Halloween for four years," Raquel replied.
"Really?" the triplets asked.
"Yup," Robert replied. "This is so cool."
"It so is and we want mama to be surprised," Callie said.
"You got it," Robert said as he opened the box and took out the shoes and hairpieces and they fit.
Robert was given the costumes and he carefully put them in the box and left.
"Thank you Nana," the triplets replied.
"You three are welcome," she said as they all shared a hug as Robert kissed her and the kids went to say goodbye to Robert Sr.
Robert brought the kids home and Lena eyed him as he sighed. "Last minute plans and I texted you."
"I know, but it is also a school night," she replied. He nodded.
"Sorry," he said as she nodded as the triplets hugged their daddy goodbye as Lena gave them their shared bath. But the kids were super hyper and Lena wondered why.
"Nana made cookies," they replied. Lena eyed them with a dubious look and arched an eyebrow.
"Anything else?" she asked as Stef walked in.
"My babies you still beat me home?" she teased.
"You saw them where?" Lena asked.
"Um, Target," Stef added in a lie.
"Try again?" Lena asked.
"Freddy's Frozen Custard and Steak burgers," Caleb replied.
"But you four went to Denny's for dinner," she replied as she sighed. "Custard?"
