I could feel the warmth beginning to wake me from the blackness which crowded my vision and could feel the warm beams of the sun hitting my face. As the warm breeze blew through the room making the blinding sun seem ever so brighter to my poor eyes, I never even noticed the figure sitting in the dark corner of the room watching me with eyes like a hawk. The dark figure crept ever so nearer towards me, blocking out the room like I was being swallowed and suffocated by the darkness of the figure.

As the figure crept ever so nearer, at last I met face to face with my kidnapper or my soon to be killer. The emotions running through my head at the moment was of panic and fear, until I saw that person's face then I realized.....

It was the person that I dreaded to see, who made me most miserable during the saddest days of my adult life. It was my husband who I ran away from, not like he cared anyway he was to busy ignoring me and making me life hell. He did the most ultimate betrayal to me and family, but the day that I ran away to begin my own life in peace was when he wanted us to make a fresh start and forget the past and that will never have now.

Anyways as I realized who he was, the figure crept ever so closer to me...making me feel suffocated as if he blocked out my air supply. When I saw his glasses glinting in the sun, it's when I made eye contact with my kidnapper who's eyes were filled with rage and anger that must have built up through me leaving.

He opened his mouth and started speaking "I waited for you for two whole years, but you didn't come back, you left me without a care in the world"as his voice started to rise in volume" how dare you! You b-" "I left you cause cheated on me you foul prick with my own sister, you vile, despicable family crusher, it caused my dad to have a heart attack and die and mum is a coma. You think I care what think and say, I don't" I retaliated back at him. It caused a foul smirk to appear on his grim looking face.

He went to open his mouth to retort until a single gun shot was heard outside, this caused him to have a look of panic appear on his dirty face. " Shut mouth I'll deal with you later, I got this bastard to deal with first"he told me with authority making no room for backchat. As the gun shots got louder and louder, he disappeared from the room I was held captive in to kill the lone gunner.

As doubt came to swim my mind thinking he was gonna walk back into the room, I heard two loud gunshots and deathly silence which frightened me to no end. Footsteps started heading my direction, made me think 'oh no he's back to deal me, maybe finish me off', as I was ready to face the man I dread. I turned my gaze to the man at my door and gasped, it wasn't him.

It was someone I knew a long time ago, who fancied himself as a bit of a gangster. He was made childhood sweetheart who we promised long ago that we would meet when we're both older and mature to have a future together when his parents dragged him away from neighborhood. I remembered our times together, our vows that we made all that time and he never forgot me which brought tears to my eyes.

As tears started trickling down my cheeks, "Frank" I whispered loud enough for him to hear.  He scurried over to me and held me in his arms, saying "Oh my dear Alice, of course it's me, I missed you so much and I will never let anyone ever mistreat you again." When he said this it brought tears to my eyes, making weep in buckets at his declaration to love me forever and to never leave ever again, to give me protection that I deserve.

he lead me out of the house, promising me his undying love and devotion and we drove off to live our lives peacefully to the end of our days.
