"Seize the day honey! It's your birthday"he shrieked making me surprised.

I was half awaken my room were filled with balloons, roses and gifts. I gently rub my eyes squinted by the lights to see my dad clearly.

He slowly shake me while pinching my nose"Ouch! That hurts" I bubbled like a child. "Wake up little girl come on!" He pulled me to sit he ruffled my hair. " Look did you like my surprise?! Your now 14! Congratulations" he exclaimed proudly locking me in his warm embrace. "Yes Dad! I do like every effort you show! Your the best!" I said happily still burying my face on his broad chest.

I lost my mom when I was 10 years old, my dad was like my angel to me despite of the struggles and grief over the lost of my mom he still manage to be firm and strong I am really indeed fortunate. My dad took me to the beach he knows I'm fond of oceans, I run like a child and scream loud to release negativity. The ocean was serene and peaceful it was like a paradise. The gushing waves were like music sweetly vibrating as it gently hits the rocks which stood a distance from me. My dad was right this paradise should be protected and nurtured to let the future generations see it's splendor.

Somewhere far way, I  noticed a group of people carrying sacks and hooks, wearing same colored shirts, and a life vest. They walk slowly near to us as if they were collecting something. I asked my Dad, "Dad? What are they?" I asked curiously. "They're angels honey, they help our paradise clean they do this twice a week maintaining the shores well kept and clean" my day explained. "And what are those things they carry? " I pointed to the sacks. "Those are sacks honey, they put plastic inside for recycling" he said patting my head. "I see plastics can be recycled into anything and even made into ornaments" I look at him fascinated.

"Yes honey, anyway do you want to help our ocean?" He suddenly asked me which made me arouse in excitement. "Sure that would be great, I can tell my friends after this what I experience here!" My eyes sparkle in amazement we approached the group and offer a help they were glad to see us and we start collecting plastics of course that was the best gift, A day to a paradise.
