"Gay people should have rights!" Drake Mallard spat at the bystander. He had just witnessed a hatecrime like no other, a crime he could never forgive.
He looked at the bruised boy and helped him stand on his feet once more.
"Gay people do have rights, dimwit." A tall and thin dog barked.
'If only he knew...' Mallard thought, with a pained expression.
He guided the young boy away from the crowd and took him back to his house, where he could see his lovely butch lesbian daughter and bisexual partner.
"This is Quackerjack jr." Drake said, pointing at the boy for his daughter.
