You were on you way to a house in the forest in your mom's car as she drove you there. Your mom and dad had business during the summer and your dad's friend (the owner of the house) offered to let you stay there. She mentioned she had some other residents staying there but she could keep an eye on his beloved daughter. He agreed and the next day off you went to meet a family you had never seen before. You had never know of them despite all the phone calls your father had gotten from her. You thought he was cheating. You had confronted your mother but she explained it was his high school sweetheart. She had broken up with him due to how much his family hated her but they ended up best friends with no feeling more. You told your mother on the car ride that you were nervous and she told you it was normal especially since it was a new place and new people. She told you to think of it like a school trip and you took that into consideration. She stopped and you gawjed at the massive red brick building in front of you. "You said this was a house." You voiced to your mother not once ripping your e/c eyes away from the magnificent piece of art that lay before you. "It is a house just a... Large one." She replies. Your eyes scanned the building before you noticed a woman looking around your age standing at the door.
