Finley was wide awake while her flatmate was still asleep. There was no reason she should be up. After all it was 3am, as she got out of bed she thought for a bit. As she got a hoodie from her closet and some joggers she headed out. Nobody should be out she thought to herself. Which being the person she was Finley craves being alone. That was until the doors opened and a blonde, tall, lanky boy spoiled her plans. She breathed in and out before entering the elevator doors obviously nervous. As she was biting the sleeves of her sweatshirt that was all too big, now she regretted wearing. The boy was wearing a hoodie and had headphones in, which Finley was thankful for.

Callum had been awake for hours. He had adrillin filled from the party that lasted till 12am. The neighbor complained about it saying she'd call the police. Nonetheless everyone was out by 12:05. His friends were all passed out by 12:30. Cal decided to go out for a walk to clear his mind. So he grabbed the closest thing he could find. He put on a hoodie and jeans. As he hopped in the elevator it stopped. What why is someone awake? Cal thought. As he watched the small brunette walk in chewing on the sleeves he could sense her anxiety. His phone soon died so he took out his earbuds out he looked at the short girl.

Then the both heard a ear deafening screech. "Oh no are we stuck! What do I do what do I do!" The brunette whispered to herself with a million thoughts racing her mind. She felt a weight on her shoulders causing her to flinch. "It's okay." The boy whispered. For some reason it put the girl at ease she turned around looking at the boy. She tilted her head upwards Finley saw a boy with blond hair and blue eyes like the sky. Cal saw the panic in the poor girl's face. He felt bad for her he didn't know what to do though. Eventually he tapped on her shoulder. She jumped as she looked up to Cal he had to refrain from laughing as the girl's eyes widen. She was in shock as he was about a foot taller than her. Cal didn't think much about his height till now. Normally his confidence would be radiating off of him. Although it was 3:30am and he was drained. To the poor girl beside him, she was beyond panicked. Cal slowly started to drift off.

The girl noticed the taller get drowsy. "Please don't go asleep," she whispered in a soft tone. The girl petrified couldn't go to sleep. The boy cocked his head to the side in confusion. "I-i just don't want to be alone in this." Finley spoke softly. Callum woke up from his daze. The older felt sorry for the burnette. So he stayed awake. Every now and then they'd try to start a conversation. Although it usually ended quite quickly.

Eventually the younger brunette fell asleep and the older soon followed after. When she woke up she realized that the elevator had gotten back to work. She heard a DING. Which surprisingly didn't wake the older. So she managed to croak out, "Hey umm whatever your name is wake up." Callum had shot up and yawned under his breath. "Hmm," he murmured obviously drowsy. "Y-You can get out now," she said in a whisper yelling tone. Cal walked out getting him back to his regular height.

As Finley walked out of the elevator all she could think about the boy she had met. She walked down the halls back to her flat. She could smell the food her flatmate had prepared. She groaned, as she walked in she was attacked with questions.

:"Where were you?! DId you know how worried I was?! What were you thinking?!" All Finley did was give the worried boy a hug.
"You're right I'm sorry," The worried boy said. Finley enjoyed this dynamic between the friends. She never really had to talk to James he just understood her.

When Cal walked back to his flat all he could think about the shorter girls voice and how it was soothing yet worrying. As he walked into his flat he could smell the puke and smells of a party. Most likely Harry was still asleep and didn't bother to clean up. Although Callum hated cleaning he cleaned for Harry. Harry was like a younger brother to him, and big brothers help out their younger siblings right?

It had been over a month since the elevator moment. Both were still questioning the mysterious person. "Do they even live here? What were they doing? Am I ever going to see them again?!" By now Finley had given all hope of ever seeing him. That was till James dragged her out of the house. That's where she saw him. It was at a little cafe. He seemed to be with another person.

Cal had really not cared over the whole event. Sure he was confused but not worried. "Umm, Cal I burnt the eggs," the younger boy uttered.
"Fine I'll take you to the bakery." Cal said. Cal knew Harry to well he always seemed to like the bakery across the road. As he walked through the doors to see a tall and skinny girl smiling at harry. Cal nudged the boy who was grinning widely.

Finley sat there staring at the tall blond ordering. "Hallo!" James said waving his hand back and forth in her face. Finley's cheeks got a bright red. She giggled out of embarrassment not noticing the tall boy staring deep at her.

Callum couldn't stop staring at the duo. Harry noticed his jaw clenched looking at the pairing. She's giggling. Who the heck is the boy?! Cal thought. Envy and jealousy was all through the boys veins. Harry was hitting his arm. "Hmm... oh sorry I'll have. What ever bogs having." Cal said confidently. "Okay 2 iced coffee with a egg and bacon sandwich coming up. That'll be 12 dollars sir." The girl said eyes lingering on Harry. Cal smiled and handed the girl 14 dollars. When he was looking for a seat he chose to sit in front of Finley and the mysterious boy.

"James you're such a weirdo!" The tiny girl giggled. "Also can I have your hoodie. You know the maroon one?" She asked innocently hoping for a yes. The taller groaned, "Finley, yes as it will disappear from my closet in due time." The brunette fist bumped the air. James giggled to himself. He could feel eyes burning into his skull, so he turned around. Met with angry staring eyes with a male. James coughed, "Umm... anything I can help you with?"
"Can I talk to the girl?" Cal asked in a less threatening tone.
"N-." James was about to speak. "Sure, what?" Finley spoke. To say James was surprised was an understatement. She was so confident, it was unusual.

"Are you the girl from the elevator." Cal spoke up. Finley just stood there all confidence removed. She grabbed James hand and exited the cafe. "You know that was quite rude." James said in a parental voice. Finley just gave him a death glare and kept walking hands together.
