I woke up and my eyes darted around the room. I was laying on a cold metal examination table. A spot light above nearly blinded my eyes that were not yet used to the light. I tried to move but my arms and legs were chained down to the table. I looked around frantically for any sign of where I was, but the empty pail grey room showed no signs of familiarity.
I tried to call out for help but my voice cracked and faded. I must have been asleep for a long time. I cleared my throat and tried again.
"Hello" the voice barely was a whisper as it escaped my throat. I tried once more, this time with more effort. "Hello! Is there anyone here? Where am I?"
"Ah I see you're awake." A man's voice came from what seemed like nowhere. "You can calm down. There is no need to yell. No one will help you here."
"Where am I?" I demanded
"Where are you?" The voices laughed making a mockery of my cries "Do you even know who you are?"
I thought for a moment. The voice was right. I had no memory of who I even was let alone where I was or why I was here.
"No answer? Good, that means my job here is done."
"What do you mean your job?" I screamed but the voice never answered. "Hello? What do you mean? Where am I at? What are you doing to me?" At this point I was screaming in terror. The voice had disappeared just as fast as it seemed to appear. I heard a door open behind me but I couldn't see because of how tightly I was chained to the table. Before I could even speak I felt a pinch in my neck and everything went black once again
