I smiled softly as I sat in the fifth row in the gymnasium. On the far right side of the room. I couldn't believe this was happening! It took me four years. But I was finally graduating from high school! My fellow peers sat around me. On either side of us students, were fellow relatives and friends cheering us on as we crossed that stage. There was Sally Sue, geez that Owl could cry.
I smiled softly as I watched after her walking along the stage. The two of us had been friends in Biology class. When she walked down the stairs, I stared down at my paws. I felt so nervous. What if I tripped and fell on the stage in front of everyone. I could play it off, acting as if I meant it to happen. But I feel as if people would only laugh at me. The fur next to me grabbed my shoulder and squeezed it. This fur happened to be Fang Richardson.
A masculine tiger anthro who was apart of the local football team. He played defensive line, and he was pretty good at it. I have to admit, I just go see his games, to watch him. Fang and I have known each other for all of our lives. Ever since the two of us were little cubs. And he happened to be my boyfriend of four years.
"You doing alright, love?" Fang asked leaning to whisper into my ear. I blushed as I felt his maw brush against my ear. "Of course, I'm. I have been looking forward to this moment for almost all my life." I said excitedly. My tail wagging gently as I stared up at him. I balled my fists as I grinned. "Soon the two of us will be in college, and make a name for ourselves."
Fang chuckled at my enthusiasm. The tiger leaned back into his chair. "There's the Triston I know and love." Fang and I were called up with a few other of my classmates and walked across the stage. I felt myself blushing as I heard my father and brothers yelling loudly in the gym, calling my name.
Those three always liked to embarrass me. When Fang and I made it back to our seats. We stared back up at the stage when we saw our principal walk up on stage. "Okay students. Please stand up."
All of us stood to our feet. Some furs grinning ear to ear. While others cried at their accomplishments. "On this day of July 16th mark yourselfs all high school graduates! Congratulations!" He announced over the intercom.
A huge uproar rosed through us. My fellow classmates and I throwing our caps into the air. I felt someone tug my arm. "Woah!" I cried out. And I was pulled into Fang's strong embrace. The tiger dipped kissed me.
I closed my eyes in the sweet embrace. Placing a paw on his cheek. Enjoying the beautiful moment we shared.
When Fang pulled back. He still held me in his arms. Staring down at me with his sly grin. That he knew I loved so much. He was such a loveable dork.
