Shallow waters, a gentle breeze—my soul is at ease. An absolute spectrum of robust sorrow lingers in the distance.
"Come with me, my child. We'll go and see the grind of sorrow."
I believed your shallow, spliced specter in this wretched hell would soon be home. Palm in palm with it, I walked.

I rejoiced in embracing the feeling that began to fade, yet I knew someday it would claw its way back to me. Distantly, I fall into the abyss. The walls close in, growing smaller. My heart begins to sink. What is this feeling I have not sought?

The words linger in my mind. Empathy? What is this word? I don't need it anymore. Why would I return to something that tears me apart again and again? He's back to take me away again.
No, please—I don't want to go. I watch the last stream of light shutter and fade beyond me. It's dark and cold, and I can no longer feel my soul.

"May I be of assistance to you, my king?"
No? Why do you no longer want me? How much of this pain must I endure? Will I ever be set free? I wish to return to the place I once called home.

You covered my eyes, but I am not blind. You cannot hide what lives inside. I can sense your pain; you are the one who makes me feel this way.
I'm over you now—it's time to say goodbye. I will free myself from your shackles, and you will watch me fly. I'm going back to the place where what's mine is truly mine. I will no longer be a hostage to what is no longer part of my life.

I look into her bloodshot eyes; they reveal the time she has spent crying.
"You will never erase me. I will always be the pain inside."
Lightning courses down my spine to the lullaby of those words.

No. Enough is enough. I will hold my chains. I will fade into a place where you will never reach me. I will go to him, the one who can make me feel what you have taken away. I will perish for my love. He will make me feel that my life is worth living.

This is my show now, and anyone who defies me will be cast aside.
