Run, Ran, Running

(Chapter 1)

18 year old Anne Williford has always been a shy girl, always will be too. However, her mate is out there. And she should be looking for him. When she arrives back her village shes pulled aside and told to be quiet. When she came back to her village It had been slaughtered. Family, Dead. Friends, bloody. Pets, Burned. Children, Gone.

-Anne's POV- 

My foot hits a bloody hand and I scream. Jumping into the air on my ass.

Someone grabs me from behind and covers my mouth whispering,

"Shh. " 

I bite his hand.

"OWW!" I clamp my hand over his mouth.

I point to the rogues who are slowly dragging bodies one by one into a fire.

"It'll be okay I promise." He hugs me. I start punching his chest in anger of what had happened.

He just lets it happen. I take a deep breath in and smell Apples and Grapes. The smell wafts over me like a thunderous cloud.

He takes a deep breath as well.

He looks at me with dark brown eyes and hugs me.

I cry, and sob. Until one point where I can smell a rogue nearby.

"We have to go." He says to me with murderous eyes.

"w-why?" I ask.

"Rogues." One word that controls someone is just as dangerous as someone who is controlled.

"Where will we go?" I ask nervously.

"The North-Sun pack."

"What about my pack?"

"They are all dead."

I nod. I quickly change behind a tree and shift into my wolf. 

UGH... finally I'm out of that tight space! My wolf tells me.

I'm sorry, we are still un-mated, therefore ANYONE could sense you.

Are you sure about that?

What do you mean by that?

That male that saved us, is our mate!

There is no way!

Better believe it!

I block her out.

"Hey we need to rest." I say pointing to the hotel.

"We also need to talk." I turn towards him.

"I bet you can smell it too." I say. 

"Yeah, about that. You have to come to my pack."

"Ok!" I smile at him.

"What is your pack named?" 

"Sunset pack."

"Nice name."

"I though so too."

I just, broke. I collapsed.

I start crying.

"It's not fucking fair!" I scream.

He pulls me into his embrace. 

"Let's go."
