We walk down the empty neighborhood in the middle of the night. Looking for the most deserted house. We are disguised as cute innocent little kids. But we are here to cause a riot. Underneath the precious kid persona, we are pale fragile kids with dark eyes. Eyes almost as dark as the midnight sky we were walking under. Once we find the house that we think is appropriate, we walk up to it. We ring the doorbell then get into a rehearsed pose. Our hands behind our back with our heads down. It resembles innocence. It looks like we are just lost little kids looking for help. Looking for shelter. As the door opens I smile a little. Just the mere thought of what was to come. In a calming tone a woman says "Are you lost?" We nod. She lets us in. You can see the pity in her face. But now the plan is set in motion. We lift our heads to expose our plain black eyes. She is speechless and scared. But before she says anything the lights go off. Then on. Off on off on. After being turned on for the last time we see a car in the driveway. "That's our parents, we must go now." We walk out fast. Then ride off. After that night the woman would never be the same. Many unexplainable events happen to her after that. Maybe it's bad luck, maybe it's karma, or could it possibly be us. The black eyed children.
