Dark clouds loomed over my quaint rundown shack of a home, as I prepared to retire into my hard bed of nails. The potter-patter of raindrops on my dirty window could be heard. I picked up a book at random, Solaris, a philosophical book about how humans would be unable to communicate with aliens. As I read, I thought to myself, this book is ludicrous, does the author wish to undermine the accomplishments of mankind? I decide enough was enough and went to rest. While sleeping, the queerest dream popped into my brain. There were buildings that were so alien, I could not describe them properly. The buildings were hyperbolic shapes, emitted a green glow, and made of a material never seen before. I appeared to be in some sort of city that has been barren and desolate for ages. I bumbled around until I saw a massive building unlike the others. This building was elliptic rather than hyperbolic with a large arch and two massive stone doors, the building emitted a pure black glow, and hand towers perturbing from unconventional places. When I walked up to these doors, the stones dissolved and the arch reformed into a hyperbolic form. Inside I heard chanting, Croeso i'r Cariad-Crefft. Rhowch gynnig ar eich ffurflen ddynol, fel y preswylwyr daear cyntaf. I was restrained by a hand I could not see, and I could only assume it was the hand of a being my brain refuses to allow me to see.
I then woke up, in a pool of warm sweat and tears. I got up in a dazed manner, and poured myself the strongest whiskey I have in the house. I then changed into my work clothing, and headed to the bathroom to brush my teeth. I grabbed my cheap toothbrush, toothpaste, and mouthwash. I looked into the broken mirror, but my reflection was not there. Instead, it was a horrific creature near indescribable, looking back at me . The creature had no true face, the arms were the creatures legs, the body was impossibly thin and slimy, and where the legs would be were two tiny hind legs.
