First Confession

Hyunsik POV

"Can you hold my hand please?" she said softly to me as she close her eyes. She smiled automatically, eyes still closed, when I held her hand. She gently squeezed my hands in appreciation.

"Are you asleep?" I asked, looking at her pale face. I am sitting at her bedside, watching her with her eyes closed and listening to her soft breathing.

"Hyunsik." she called out to me in a whisper, I could barely hear her. "Did you know I was the one giving you chocolates on Valentines Day?" I heard her faint laugh as she speaks.

"I didn't, but I was hoping it was you." I replied to her. Every year I would receive a special chocolate with a note written on a guitar card, no name. I was always hoping it was from her.

"I always wanted to tell you, but I can't."

"Y/N—

"I'm not sure if you knew, that... that you were my first love." she confessed with a soft smile on her face. I caressed her face as I don't know what to say.

"Hyunsik..." she called out.

"Yes Y/N? Do you need anything?"

"Hmmmm, can you sing for me? she requested. I sighed, she always asked me to sing her the song I wrote whenever I held her hands likes this.

"That again?" I teased her, she just gently nod her head and smiled.

"Hyunsiiik!" she called out to me panting and out of breath, clutching her chest.

"Y/N why did you run!! Aisshhh!!! You know it's bad for you." I scolded her and flicked her forehead.

"I... I... I was... I was afraid you're worried." she said the difficulty in her breathing is evident.

"Pabo!!! I told you to stay put and I will find you right. I put my arms around her and lead her to the nearest bench. I reach for the water bottle in my back pack. "Where is your medicine?" she pointed at her backpack in response to my questions. "Relax okay?" I said trying not to sound too worried so as not to scare her, but I am worried. I took out her medicine from her backpack and took out a pill and hand her the bottle of water. I massage her back as we wait for the medicine to kick in.
