Night creeps in and darkness falls. Flashbacks play through my mind. Everything I want to forget keeps coming back and I can't stop it. Maybe it was all for the best. Maybe I broke up with Sungjin for a good reason. He was never home. He was always hiding things. He stopped caring. But he was also the best boyfriend I've had in a while. He just started his solo career. I knew him in school so I went to support him at his first concert. After it had ended I was on my way home. I rode the bus, headphones in and head on the window. As the bus pulled to a stop I climbed off and started my way down the street, only to be stopped by him. I took an earphone out as he smiled shyly. "Hmm?" I asked. He took a deep breath. "I had something to say to you...I like you a lot. You don't have to...I'm not asking you to reply..its just that...it was a lot..and it was hard to bear...so.." He sighed and turned and as I stared at him, he walked away. After that we had gotten closer. And eventually started dating. But one night, he came home. He looked upset so I started to ask what had happened. He didn't answer and pulled out his phone. I giggled, trying to lighten the mood and tried to pull his phone down to see what he'd been doing. But he stood and walked away angrily. This had happened multiple times. But one night, I'd had enough. He walked in and smiled when he saw me. "Hey babe~" he'd greet me. I stayed quiet and looked at the floor. "I don't think I can do this anymore Sungjin." I said quietly. He looked at me puzzles. "Sungjin. I don't think I can take this relationship anymore. You're always sneaking around and you barely talk to me. You greet me when you get home but go right to bed. This isn't healthy." I said. He smiled. Not the reaction I was expecting. "So. You're just going to break up with me? Just like that? Okay. Go then." He started to laugh hysterically. I ran to my room and packed my essentials before walking out the door and slamming it in his face. Now here I am walking with my backpack filled with my belongings through the night. I walk to my best friend Wonpil's house. I knocked on his door and took a deep breath. "(Y/N)? What-" he looked at me in my pajamas, no make up and messed up hair. He knew something happened. "You remember when you said if I needed a place to stay I could always come here?" I asked. He nodded and opened the door wider and stepped to the side letting me in. I watched as he grabbed spare blanket and pillows from the closet and set up his spare room. "Thank you Piri~" I said as I snuggled into his blankets. He smiled and clicked off the lamp. I could hear his phone ring and him answering. I wasn't concerned about it until I heard him say "What happened Sungjin hyung?" I ignored the conversation and closed my tearing up eyes as sleep slowly envelopes me.
