"There. All done."

I dusted off my hands on my threadbare jeans,I had finished packing.
I picked at my woolen sweater. It was a Christmas gift from my aunt, and although it was comfy, it was... Icky. The colours were vomit green and an unsettlingly bright red. I decided to change into a black bodysuit, dark blue skinny-jeans,a rose gold velvet choker, and matching rose gold velvet  combat boots and baseball hat.

I pulled my strawberry-blond hair to the side, and settled for a manageable braid. Finally, I put on my favourite silver,, round-eyed glasses, and grabbed my suitcase and the cart full of boxes and unloaded them into the back of my Mercedes-Benz. It took me 2 years to save up for it, so I was going to show it off.

When I pulled up in the driveway, I marvelled at the colossal building.
There had gotta be at least 10 floors.

"Holy Shit."

I got my suitcase out of my trunk and started getting out my boxes when suddenly, a girl came up to me.

"Hi! I'm Zana, and I'm here to show you around as your classmate and roommate!"
I glanced up to see a girl with long, straight hair, bright eyes, and deathly pale skin. She wore all black, right from her black hoodie, to her black jeans, down to her black shoes. With all the black from her outfit, paired with her flowing black hair, her complexion in comparison looked unnaturally white.

"May. "

"Nice to meet you!"
She didn't exactly seem like the emo type, but she couldn't have been more enthusiastic as she held out her hand.

I slapped it sarcastically.
"And you."
She looked puzzled, but carried on.

"Let me help you with tho-"

"Don't you have somewhere to be?Like, far away from here? "I retorted. She looked down at her feet, then chuckled to herself and looked up quickly in amusment.

"Well I guess you can find our dorm yourself, then."

"Which number?"

"368, floor 9."

Shit.
I looked up at the towering building. Then pouted in defeat. Then I plastered on a fake smile and took her hand," Nice to meet you, Zani"

"It's Zana."
"Yeah I don't care."

I followed her up two flights of stairs and an awkward elevator ride until we went into a corridor and walked single file for a while until we got to a room. Number 368. Wow, she wasn't kidding. She punched a code into the keypad, a little too frantically, then proceeded to dramatically open the door with a flourish. "Welcome to your humble abode. "

There was a cramped room in front of me. Most of it was beds. Six in counting.
